In another scene, Korede walked in on his parents' conversation. They didn't notice him so he eavesdropped on their conversation when he heard it had something to do with him.

"You're going to leave field work and take a desk job?" Shade asked.

"Yes. Although it's a desk job, it's still a promotion. I'll be the head of an interagency taskforce. It's a leadership position that will put me on the ladder to director," Babatunde replied. He saw his wife's expression. "Don't look like that, I'll do anything for my children. Besides, I'm not getting younger. I can't be running around like the old days anymore.
