There are 193 countries in the world as far as the United Nations is concerned. 54 of them are in Africa. Whether in Africa or Worldwide, many countries share borders with one another.

Unlike what you see on a map, the boundaries or borders of countries are not so clearly demarcated. The borders of different countries may stretch to the same parcel of land or sea. It can sometimes become difficult to tell which country one was in after taking a mere couple of steps. In many places worldwide, tensions arose between countries due to territorial disagreements. Some have even blown into full on conflicts.
