He was trying to process the call.

The call ended sooner than he could get any useful information. In fact, all it succeeded in doing was making him confused.

'The caller was female. And she thought she was speaking to my father… She said "Dad", right? Does that mean? No… that's impossible. Dad wouldn't… not to mom.' His mind spiralled.

He heard a clicking sound from the phone.
