A group of Spec Ops operators are saved from the jaws of death by the intervention of the Supreme Law of Time. After waking from a coma, the team's leader finds himself bound to an alien symbiote. And thanks to the symbiote, the team is thrust into the hidden world of Will awakeners; individuals who use their Will to harness superhuman abilities. 
As if that wasn't bad enough, the team accidentally uncover a conspiracy by a powerful shadow organisation which then puts them in the central position in the fight against the organisation and their nefarious plans for the world.
Thus, begins the journey of the Soldiers chosen by Time!

The Alphas monitored the progress of the Horus Marines through the early hours of morning.

It was just about five hours since Corps Commander Arthur Sikora announced the commencement of Operation Typhoon, yet the Marines had already captured ten high-profile targets from the deck of 52 targets.

Admittedly this was because the Marines acted upon Intel they had diligently collected for a long period of time, and also more importantly because the hostiles were caught unawares, but it didn't detract from the fact that it was a major achievement.

Even with the captured targets aside, the Marines had certainly dealt more severe blows to the four insurgent groups in these five hours than the groups had received, combined, in the year!
