Chapter 28: Truval

The fierce staring of the Treant made Reigan feel that his head already had a hole. Although it was looking at the egg, does it need to be that intense?

He just ignored it and found a place to sleep as he opened his storage box and used the boar skin to sleep in. The skin smells like rotten meat and iron, making his nose crinkled in disgust, but he will just endure. It was not that he had a choice, besides that. The carpet and he are the same. They still didn't wash themselves, and he didn't want to sleep in rough land. If he got the materials, why would he be unfair to himself?

Another thing, he could always wash them when he found a river or lake.

"Why are you sleeping in such smelly skin, as a female beast, you need at least to give your child a good environment?"

Reigan glared at the Treant. He wanted to punch this Treant for calling him a female. He is a man okay! Which part of him is a female?!

He disregarded the Treant question, else he will sleep in the forest tonight.

The Treant felt dissatisfied with Reigan's attitude, but he wanted the egg to like him. So he will endure, for now, maybe if he was nice to its mother the egg would like him.

If Reigan knew what he was thinking, he really would brawl with this old man so he would understand that he is not a mother!

"In the fairyland, the female treants there sleep in a comfortable place and the female fairy even sleeps in a soft bed. Now that I thought about it? Why would a beast girl like you be in here when your people usually live in a secluded farthest place? Are you lost? or you came from the Central city and then your carriage was broken, a lot of humans wanted to abduct you, ending you to be in such a predicament."

Reigan faced the Treant who just made a story out of his predicament. He didn't know what kind of melodramatic show was this old man treant had been watching that he actually made up such a story?! Ah.

But what caught his attention was the fairyland, central city, and farthest place. So there was actually a city in here, he just didn't see it yet.

He sat up and faced the old man. "Hey old man. Where was that fairyland, or Central City was?"

The treant glared at him. "I told you, I am not that old! I am only 300 years old!"

Isn't that still old? But of course, Reigan didn't ask this. "Then Mister."

"What Mister! My name is not Mister!"

Just a little bit more, and he's gonna kill this annoying old man! Ah! "Then what's your name?" He said with his whisky twitching.

"Ehem. I am the most handsome, dashing, amazing, and wisest of all treants! Truval! Well, you can always call me handsome Truval." It even winked at him.

Which part of your wrinkled face was handsome ah! Wise, more like eccentric.

"So does that mean that you knew the whole Fantasy Realm?" Reigan intrigued.

"Heh, little girl. This handsome Truval knows everything! Just ask me everything!"

"Then tell me what kind of being lived in the fantasy Realm?"

"Hmm... Why are you asking me for such basic knowledge? You... Are you not from this Realm... But seeing such a look, that seems impossible..."

Just tell me already! That's what Reigan wanna say, but he held his irritation because he wanted information. "I forgot."

Truval peered at him pitifully, he started to cry. "Poor child. Wuwuwu... To think you were abandoned in the forest, and then been impregnated by someone. No wonder you have no idea you are a girl, nor any idea about this world. Wuwuwu." Tears flowed from the eyes of the Treant, making Reigan didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

The pit of Truval is really deep. He could be a melodramatic writer because of the scenes he could think of on the spot.

"I told you I am a guy! A boy! Male!"

The treant's branch reached out for his shoulder and patted him. "It's okay. I understand. Don't worry, I will tell you about this world."

"I told you I am a guy."

"It's okay, it's okay. I understand. But you should accept being a girl for the sake of your child."

"This is not-"

He felt the treant glared at him, making Reigan shut up. Sigh. Just let it be, He needed information from this old man anyway.

Truval smiled kindly at him. "So let me explain this world. From that weird clock, they called this place Fantasy Realm, but we called our world Fanasia. Well, that was according to our history.

Our world was divided into 3 types of species. Water, Land, and air. In the Land, there are 8 continents. The Central or the City of Races was widely known because most of the different species are welcome there, and there are a lot of strong races who live there. Especially the Fae elevens who are known as great magicians, and powerful spiritualists. Some even knew how to control elemental power.

The most powerful there were the Royals who governed the land. That place was the safest but also cost a lot to live in. They are very strong even in the military, I advise you not to just enter without money. Wait, do you have money with you?"

Reigan turned silent, receiving another pitiful look from the Treant.

"It's okay, I will help you to get one," Truval spoke in a caring voice, making Reigan smile. Who would hate free money ah! "Okay, the Second land was the land of Ruffos. I tell you, never go there! That land is very dangerous for a young lady like you. Races who live there were a bunch of thieves and killers. They believe that only the strong can live. Tsk tsk tsk. They are just a bunch of ruffians!

The one leading that land was the king of Thieves. He was fast and strong. The only reason why that city was spared was that when it comes to the information they were the best with it. Not only that, but they also create a good weapon, but that doesn't mean all are good. Some were just fraud, so you will need someone like a clairvoyant to distinguish what is real, and what is not!

The third one can be found in the southern continent. Most who live there were a bunch of beasts. That was your land for sure! They all have those animal features like yours. The leader there was a strong lion King! Well, I only knew a little information from them.

The fourth one was the land of Gnome. They are a weird bunch who create weird things. I don't even know what they were creating. I guess it was some kind of weird magic. Oh, yeah. They are in a dispute against Central. Just be careful not to mention which from which, else they would kill you!

The fifth one was the Curelean island. Well, it was landform but in a crescent shape. They were the only island being live on by the half land and half oceanic. I never went there yet, well there was no treat there o why would I?!

The sixth one was the human island. They are just a bunch of weak beings, not worth mentioning, but they are very cunning. So you still needed to be careful. Do you understand?"

Reigan's eyes twitched but he still nodded his head.

"The seventh one was the Dragonaire City. Well, most who lived there are a bunch of dragons. They are arrogant beings who never let any other races go to their land. They are ferocious and dangerous ones. Never ever dare to enter that land else they will kill you on the spot!

And last one, the fairyland. It was the best one of all 8 ah." Truval's face had a dreamy look. as his cheeks turned red as if fantasizing while speaking. "The Fairyland was the land where both fairies and Treant live. There are a lot of beautiful Treant there. Oh yeah, there is also some dryad who also went there. But most are those elegant Treants and some fairy." Truval explained, but every time he spoke about the Treants his face had this pervy look.

Reigan already named Truval as a perverted Treant.

"About the Air and the water dwellers, I only have a few ideas," Truval said, forgetting how he boasted just now that he knew everything.

"I thought you knew everything."

"I did? I forgot."

Reigan felt speechless with this old man. Doesn't matter, at least he got the information he needed. Oh, there was another one. "Do you know about the god of species?"

The treant faced him in disbelief. "How could you just speak those words so easily!"

Reigan didn't know what he said wrong but the way the Treant stared at him, made him shut up.

Seems like he needed to find it himself.

"Little girls never ever spoke the names of god easily, they can hear us!" Shouted Truval, making Reigan's lips twitch.

They would definitely be heard with this old man shouting.

He looked in the dark sky, watching the timer move on its own.

Gods huh? Wonder what they looked like.
