The Prodigy

"Yo! Are you the new candidate that the Goddess ask me to train?" 

A man in a Palladin type armor wearing the same crest as mine, the crest of the Goddess Frigg's camp. 

"Yes sire, my name is Aziel Braine, it is a pleasure to meet you sir, please help me to become a better warrior like you!" 

I said in a formal way while looking at his marvelous appearance. 

"By the way sire, may I have the honor to know your name?" 

After I'd finished my sentence, the strong looking warrior in front of me suddenly burst into laughter. 

"Buahahaha! You are so funny Aziel! Why are you talking to me so formal? Don't be to nervous, and be yourself, I am not a kind of man who always wanted to be respected too much, Buahaha" 

He said while laughing continously.

I know that I look so trying hard to talk in a formal way, however this is me when I'm talking to the person I think I could look up to. 

"Anyway, Buahaha!, I'm sorry, I'd just can't stop laughing when I remember the way you speak earlier. Anyway, my name is Hanji, Hanji Kozuki, I am the first candidate of the Goddess, and I have already managed to open my 16th door."

Wow! He is just 2 doors away from Alexi, he is that powerful already?. I heard that the Goddess Frigg's camp just started for about 2 years, and they have already a total 36 candidates including me.

According to the people around here before I came to the camp to receive the blessing of the Goddess, the reason why the Frigg's camp managed to recruit more candidates is due to its number one candidate who is said to be a Prodigy who reached the 16 door in a 2years time. His name was Hanji Kozuki.

"Oi, Oi, Oi, why are you staring at me and not speaking anything? Does my new armor doesn't look good? Aargh! I think I was scammed again by that scumbag! he told me that this armor is his greatest work and I'd even sold all of my loots before just to acquire this armor"

"That not it Sire! I'd just never thought that you, the Prodigy, is the one who will train me! It is my honor to be your student sir Hanji!, and also, your armor is so fascinating that I might've mistaken you to be someone from the Golden Door" 

It seems like the Goddess is expecting too much for me? for her to send the Prodigy to trained me. 

I am somehow intrigued on this kind of power that I have, all I know about my power is that it gives me the ability to monitor my system, like an RPG games character stats, nothing more nothing less.

"Is that so? I thought I was scammed by that bastard, anyway stop calling me Sire, Hanji is fine, it gives me chill to hear someone calling me in a honorific title."

This guy, I don't understand, he is that powerful, but he too down to earth and not looking down to anyone, I like this person, I'd just hope that he will remain the same no matter happen. 

"Yes sire! I mean Hanji!" 

"The next time I hear you call me sire,  I will definitely punish you!" 

Upon hearing those world, my feet trembled in fear, he is this powerful that just by the tone of his voice, it gives me this chilling feeling.

"Oy, Aziel why are you sweating there in fear, I'm just kidding man, that is just of my ability, I mean one my acquired ability during the journey, it helps me to intimidate the people or even monster that is weaker than me."

He said in an apologetic tone. 

"By the way Aziel, what is your weapon specialty? in regards to me, I prefer using a dual handed Sword, that is why I was wearing this extravagant armor to compliment to my powerful swing, you know, powerful attack is equal to powerful defense."

"Actually, that is I don't know yet, but I know how to handle a normal sword since I was training with my brother in the orphanage when I was young. We even dream to become both the Emperor's Guard, not because we want to protect him, but because we wanted to kill him".

I know that I should not tell him this story of mine about my hatred to previous Emperor since I don't even know him, except his Name and his achievement. However I know he is trustworthy person since the Goddess trusted him as well.

The brother that I was talking about is not actually my biological brother but a brother from the same orphanage, we both lose our family during the great war for the Galdurium. 

Ares, who is the same aged as me left the orphanage at a very young age of fifteen 3 years ago. 

The last news I heard about him is that he managed to become a candidate of the God Bishamonten. 

 "Do you have a sword with you?" 

Hanji asked before removing the rope that was in his waist. 

"I don't have with me, because the Goddess told me that I must not bring anything with me before coming to you."

At first, I was also wondering why the Goddess forbid to bring weapon with me even though I went here to train

But I think I know now the reason why she asked me to. 

" Here, take this, that Goddess always see my future, I can't even hide a single thing from her."

He said in a frustrated tone. 

"But don't take it seriously Aziel, you Know, this is the First time that Goddess ask me to train someone, so I was a bit excited, and went here early, and brought this sword that I got during my last attempt in the 15th door." 

What?! I am his first student? What is he actually? Anyhow, I can see why the Goddess didn't let him train the newbie, it is because of his despite a strong looking appearance, he is somehow like a kid who is just playing this dangerous game. 

"What do you mean by seeing your future?" 

I don't know if I'd just misheard him, but I know he was talking about the future. 

Is that the reason why the Goddess forbid me to bring a weapon with me because she saw the future that Hanji will give me a new sword? 

Also did she saw my future that's why he asked to hide my awakened my ability? Only the Goddess can provide me the answer, I will just ask her later when I get the chance to meet her again.
