Meeting a familiar Favorite

Once I'd managed to go back to my new place here inside the Capital, I once again browse the booklet that Hanji gave me as well as the map to find a place where I can spend the rest of the day before I call it a day.

As I browse the map, I saw that the nearest establishment here in my place is the weapon and armory shop, so maybe I'll take a look there, and if I am lucky, I might be able to find cheap, dull looking Item that has a significant attributes as well like the Nandaka and the Sirvasta.

While walking down the street, I do still somehow feel a little bit paranoid since what happens earlier, but according to Gudan, the Favorite from the Goddess Frigg's camp who is responsible for external affairs and communication, that they have already informed the Internuncio that everything was a misunderstanding, and also, give them a notice, a warning I mean, that if I was being pursue again by one of their members, then the camp will not sit idly by.

But even with the assurance from Gudan, I do still move here with the extra caution, so that I can run or alert my brothers and sisters from the Goddess.

"Welcome to Double Sword Blacksmith, young lad"

The old man in the Weapon shop instantly welcome me to his place.

"Is there is something that I can help you with, or anything that you wish to buy?"

"Um, actually I have a sword here that I want to be repaired, or rather to restore it since it is rusty all over the sword".

I said while removing my sword given by Hanji from its sheath.

"Why don't you buy a New sword then, I think it is almost beyond repair, also, the metal used in this sword Is too old, so I think I cannot restore it anymore."

The blacksmith said while scratching his head from disappointment.

"Is that so?, I thought that I can atleast remove the rust from it, anyway do you have something that a Level 1 like me could buy?"

by saying a Level 1, it also refers to a person here in the Capital who doesn't have much since that is the starting point of being a favorite.

As soon as the Level 1 registered into the blacksmith's ears, his attitude instantly went from kind to rude.

"What?! Do you even have a money to buy anything from this shop? Maybe you don't have enough money to even buy that rusty dagger in the bottom part of the shelves, get lost for now!, Get back here if you have enough money, you just wasted my time here!"

As soon as I heard the word [Rusty] from his mouth, my focus instantly shifted from his nonsense bubbling into searching for that rusty dagger disregarding his insut to me.

[Ding!]

*Assasin Basic Dagger

*This type of dagger is mostly used by the Novice Assasin Favorite.

When I touched the dagger, the system once again automatically popped in front of my face showing the name and the description of that dagger.

Unfortunately, it is not what I was hoping for. Anyways, I am already lucky enough to have this weapon set in just a single day.

"It seems like there is no weapon here that has a good quality at all, so I shall take my leave now and find a better weapon shop."

I said while trying to pissed the rude blacksmith.

--

I'd never thought that on my first visit to a shop here inside the capital, I will encounter that kind of shop owner.

That being a Level 1 here is being discriminated, then what more if you are just a simple citizen here, especially those citizen who is not qualified to be a Favorite?

I hope that the Armory that I am going to right now is not as rude as that old man.

While walking my way to the armor shop, I saw a familiar person from the camp browsing in the jewelry stall on the sidewalk.

"Aria, am I correct?"

I said once I get near her.

"Umm, Yes."

she said while looking at me from head to toe trying to remember who I was.

"Oh! You are the new Favorite from the camp! The Troublemaker!"

She said loudly once she realized who I was.

What the heck? I'd already made a title of my own.

Anyway, what could I hope for? That is our supposed to be first meeting, but on my very first day, I'd already gave them enough trouble to even cancel her supposed to be door completion.

"Umm, I'm really sorry for what happen, I heard from Hanji before that today is supposed to be the day wherein you will clear your 8th door." I said without looking at her eyes out of embarrassment.

"Well, everything happens already, and also, you don't have to worry about that, actually, I was also still hesitating to attempt for my 8th door earlier, because I don't think that I can clear it yet with my current power." she explained while keeping her focus at the jewelries in the stall.

"To be honest with you, I was somehow thankful to what happen earlier, since we are being recall, I do somehow felt relief from the fear I was feeling outside my 8th door."

She said while walking away from stall, maybe she doesn't want to let the vendor hear what she is telling me.

"I know that I am not strong enough to clear my 8th door,  but the clock is ticking, and everytime I hear about the news of someone who manage to open another door, after door, I began to feel the rush to finish my 8th door even though I know that I cannot do it yet, even though I know that I can die anytime inside the tower"
