Chapter 50

Noah slowly opened his eyes and placed the sword that was in his chest on the bed as he stood up, and as he sat on the bed he heard and, he felt several bones in his body cracking with each moment he moved .

"Ahhh! Finally I can move again ... then, it hurt. " said Noah as he stretched, after he was already sitting on the bed.

"Now I'm fine, right?" he asked, as he stood.

[Negative!]

[His bones have been healed, but they still remain weak thanks to the old wounds.]

[And you will probably have difficulty doing very heavy exercises.]

"... I just realized that ..." said Noah, while looking at his legs, which were shaking.

"But how long will it last?" he asked.

[There is no exact time.]

[It may take 1 week for your bones to return to normal, just as it may take 1 month.]

[However, thanks to your cultivation, and your strains, you will probably need only 1 week, or less, to fully recover.]

'1 week?'

'… So I'm going to try to solve other things in that short time.'

'And the first thing on the list, is to end this weakness of mine,' thought Noah, as he took his sword from the bed, and looked intently at the reflection of his eyes in the blade.

After taking his sword and placing it in the special space of the system, Noah looked around and, seeing that there was nothing and no one in there, he turned and headed for the door. And as he went to the door, with every step he took it was literally a bone that crackled across his body, and most of the bones that were cracking were certainly from his legs.

However, to Noah's happiness, those crackles didn't last long, and they all stopped moments before he reached the door.

'Wow, that makes it look like I haven't seen sunlight in a while.' Noah thought, as he placed his hand over his eyes, because of the strong light that was coming from the sun.

He looked around looking for Sophia, while casting a shadow with her hand, but apart from the two guards who were on either side of the door, apparently watching the room, Noah saw no one else.

"... Do you happen to know where Sophia is?" Noah asked, looking at the two guards.

"Now you are probably with your parents." replied the guard on the right.

"I understand, but where?" asked Noah.

"In the lounge where they eat their meals." replied the guard on the left.

"Okay, but where is this place?" asked Noah.

"It's over there, you just need to go straight, and ask someone else when you get there. They will definitely tell you where it is. " said the guard on the right.

"Okay, thanks for the help." thanked Noah.

"You're welcome, sir." the two guards spoke.

"…"

"Wait! Wasn't that there the man the lady had told the two of us to keep an eye on? " asked the guard on the right.

"This is not possible, the lady said that the man who is inside, will be able to leave only in 3 days." said the guard on the left.

"But ... didn't he just pass us by?" said the guard on the right, pointing to Noah who was already walking ahead.

*********

After walking for a few minutes, while looking around Noah thought "This place is really beautiful. But what is this exaggeration for? Did it really need to be that big? "

But even though he thought it was a total exaggeration, Noah kept walking among those trees with pink leaves on the right, and blue ones on the left, hoping to get to Sophia when that long road was over.

And after some more walking, Noah saw a girl who apparently tried to hide as soon as she saw him walking in the same direction as her. He didn't understand why it happened, and that's why he went after her, to ask her why she ran as soon as he saw her.

The girl didn't run long, she just got off the path she was on, and quickly went behind a tree on the left. Noah obviously found that reaction strange, and walked slowly towards the tree where the girl was "hidden".

"Please go straight."

"Please, please ..." whispered the girl, while still trembling with her eyes closed.

"…Hey…"

"Aaah!" cried the girl, after hearing Noah's voice suddenly appearing beside her.

"Or or or, do we know each other by any chance?" Noah asked, while at the same time wondering exactly the same thing, and trying to remember to see if he had done anything bad for this girl before.

But even after thinking for a few minutes, Noah couldn't find a single memory where that girl appeared, and also, he was lying on a bed, so it was practically impossible for him to do anything against her. At least, that's what Noah thought.

"... hey, could you happen to ..."

"No, please no! I swear I will never approach you again, so please… "said the girl, clearly pleading with Noah as she cried and shivered, crouched behind the tree.

Noah didn't understand what that girl was talking about, for him, she was just a stranger, and without much patience he said "What the hell are you talking about? … Do you happen to have a mental problem, girl?"

The girl looked at Noah as she cried and thought 'What's going on? ... Does he really not remember what happened? … No, I still better keep my distance from that person. After all, what would happen to me if it happened again? I don't know if I'd be as lucky as I was before, so… '

"... Are you okay now, girl?" Noah asked, after seeing that she was staring at him.

The girl nodded as she wiped the tears from her face to answer Noah's question. And after seeing her waving, Noah smiled and said "Well, then ..."

Seeing the smile on Noah's face, the girl felt a shiver all over her body as she tried to figure out what he was going to say in thought.
