Chapter 64

"Arf! Arf! Arf!..."

The woman was trying hard to get away from the house and get to a place where she was under the effect of that massive pressure. But even after she'd crawled a few steps away from the house, she couldn't get rid of that damn pressure. A pressure that felt like her whole body was being pressed against the floor. Or even a sensation that made her feel that she was being stepped on by a being who, in every aspect, was infinitely greater and superior to her.

But even with all that pressure, she continued to crawl little by little, until she finally got close to the barrier '… Did the sir manage to reach the room?… ' she thought, afraid to keep moving away.

She turned her head a little bit, so she could look at the house, and after a few seconds like that, she closed her eyes, and turned her head again so she could keep moving forward, thinking '…It's not like if I was going to be of any use in this situation…'

However, before she could begin to crawl again, the woman heard a loud peep coming from inside the house, and echoing in her ears. And upon hearing that, she immediately had the reflex to turn around again, and look at the house. But before that could happen, the woman found herself completely still and scared.

Because even if it took a lot of effort to do so, before she could still move. But now, not even a single finger could be moved, she was barely able to breathe. And because she was at the 1st stage of spiritual transformation her body was obviously countless times more resistant than a normal person's body. But even with all this resistance, he seemed to be burning from the inside out.

'What is this?…' thought the woman.

'Which being could be able to… create such pressure?…'

'…Does…'

And her thoughts, which were getting slower and slower, in mere seconds, came to a complete stop. And with them so did her vision, which soon after had turned dark, as her eyes slowly began to close.

Moments before

Even from outside the office, the guards could clearly hear the cries of dissatisfaction as Arthur addressed the elders.

"Why did you act that way?!"

"The way you were talking, it even made it sound like you have a lot of money, right old folks?!"

"…We've already said that we are the elders of this family, so you have no right to treat us like that." said the old man.

"Look, really? Elders? Don't give me that shit! The only thing that keeps you two out of your dens is lack of money. It's like you guys are without now. Apparently they just decided to come here and ruin my fucking peace."

"…Why are you so angry? Because of a stranger?"

"This stranger is my daughter's friend, you old idiot! And if she gets mad at me for it, I swear you'll never be able to buy a pill again."

While demonstrating in her expressions, her displeasure at the way she was being treated, the old woman began to say "How dare you..."

However, before she could finish her sentence, all three present in the room felt at the same time, an enormous pressure superimposing their bodies that pushed them down. And with that, the three immediately found themselves on their knees on the floor, after feeling that pressure for just a few moments.

'...But what is this? Arthur thought Arthur, as he tried to think of what could be the cause of it.

He looked at the two old men, and was surprised by the expression that was stamped on their faces. A clear expression of fear and dread.

Arthur obviously knew that pressure would definitely leave anyone who felt that way. But it didn't just seem like that. The elders were shaking, and they both closed their eyes. It seemed a lot like they were trying not to see something that terrified them, despite there being only the three of them in that room.

As for Arthur, he practically didn't even have the chance to be scared, or even scared. Even because, his head was more than full, for his concern when wondering if his wife and daughter would be okay at that moment.

A bit before

As she walked towards her room, and passed under trees with beautiful blue leaves, Sophia thought, 'When will he be back? …I don't want to be stuck at home, let alone alone…'

She continued walking slowly under the trees, and so did all the beasts of the forest around the city, or even people all over the city. Sophia felt enormous pressure and pain over her body. But when she fell to the ground, even though she was sure she was alone in that place, Sophia heard something hit the ground behind her, causing a noise.
