Chapter 73

After throwing the book away, Noah punched one of the trees beside him and yelled "Why isn't there anything written on that shit?!!" then, as he started to pull his arm and pull it out of the tree, which he had punched before, Noah asked "Wasn't there supposed to be a bloody technique written on those leaves?"

And when he finally withdrew his arm from the trunk of the tree, Noah shook it and, turning so he could look at the system, he heard the noise of a large tree falling behind him.

[And who said there wasn't?]

As he pointed to the direction in which he had previously thrown the book, Noah exclaimed, "Don't give me that! I looked! And clearly there was nothing written on that shit!"

[But it's not because you can't see it, which means it's not there.]

"What the fuck are you trying to tell me? How am I going to be able to train using that shit if I can't see the content?!"

[This could really be a problem. But with the system's ANALYSIS skill, this can be easily resolved.]

Noah smiled as he looked at the system, and with a clear tone of sarcasm said, "That's great, this really is wonderful." he turned around slowly and continued saying "But why didn't you tell me this before? Now I'm going to have to look for a single fucking book, all over this place."

So, having said that, Noah sighed, and after looking for a brief moment at the blue sky above the trees, he began slowly walking in the same direction he had thrown the book before. But as he walked away from that place, he had something Noah didn't stop to see.

Around the place of impact of his punch, the trunk of the tree that the blow had been hit, however small, its interior seemed to be burned. And when looking exactly in the direction in which the blow was delivered, it was possible to see holes that seemed to have been made with fire in trees that were one after the other, and these holes followed a good number of trees, thus reaching a large straight area.

"Oh shit! Why when I'm alone, do I always have to act on impulse? It's been a long time and I wanted to find that damn book."

Noah continued looking for the book for quite a while, for hours actually. But even after he had searched all this time, in the middle of that annoying grass on the ground, and those big and small trees that were all around, it seemed that his book was getting harder and harder to find.

So, being tired of looking so much, Noah sat down in the low grass, which was next to a tree behind him. And after sighing and slowly lifting his head as he looked with his inexplicably heavy eyes to the sky, his thoughts started to get slower and slower, and his eyes didn't seem to want to be opened. Then finally, Noah slowly went to sleep.

Time passed, and the sky that was blue and completely illuminated before, is now gray and the only illuminated places are those from where the powerful lightnings come out.

Because he was lying under a huge tree, which was next to many others equally large, thanks to the large amount of leaves and branches, it took a while for the first drop of water to reach Noah. But when he felt her touching his forehead, while he was still sleeping, he dried her off and continued as if nothing had happened.

But he didn't stop there. After a drop fell on his forehead, it didn't take long for another to fall, but like before, Noah just dried off and didn't care much. But then one landed on the left side of his face, and then on the right. And without even having time to dry these drops, one more fell on his nose, and after that an intense rain began to fall on Noah.

And when he woke up with the rain falling on him, Noah said "What the…"
