Chapter 76

With her uncle holding her arm and pulling her out of the room, the confused girl asked "Why is this so suddenly? What is happening?"

And with his tone slightly altered he replied "They're coming this way! They've already found us!"

"What?! So that means…"

"Yea! We have to leave now! Before more of them come…"

But when the man opened the door and looked straight ahead, in front of him was Noah standing and confused, at being surrounded by four people, who were now on their knees in front of this man and girl.

And with her head bowed the woman said, "The emperor requests the princess's return."

Hearing that, Noah was surprised to think 'What?! Princess?!' he looked at the girl and continued, 'Is this girl a princess?!'

After looking at Noah and seeing her expression, the girl sighed and said, "What are you doing auntie? There's no reason for you to kneel to me like that."

"Auntie?!!" thought Noah, as he stared in alarm at the woman beside him.

The woman then stood up as she slowly removed the handkerchief that covered her face and said "What do you mean by that my dear? You are the emperor's daughter, of course I have to do this." she smiled and as her long blonde hair fell she walked towards the girl and continued, "At least when I see you in the first moment. If not I would be committing a great disrespect. But now that I've done that, come over here and let me hug you my dear."

But when he let go of the girl's arm and used his own to prevent the woman from passing, with her expression the man asked "Why does he want her to come back now? What is the reason behind this?"

The smile on that woman's face faded, and it would be she said "He's her father. Isn't it natural for a father to want to be close to his daughter?"

He smiled and replied, "No it's not natural, and you know it well. Even because, how many times did you see the father before he died?"

She looked at him with a look that seemed to contain enormous hatred and, as she clenched her fists, she looked away and said, "…This is certainly not a subject that can be overheard by strangers. So, get this boy out of here."

'Damn it! Because I didn't try to run away before…'

The two men who were beside Noah O grabbed him under his arms, and soon after that began to pull him back. But seeing this, the girl yelled "Wait!" She then walked calmly, a little ahead of her uncle and said, "Let him go. How dare you hold my fiancé like this?"

"Groom?!" exclaimed the confused woman.

Then, after hearing the girl's words, the two men quickly let go of Noah's arms, who walked past the girl and into the house. And as he passed the girl, smiling she whispered "Now you owe me a favor..."

'Favor? As if! I was the one who saved your life first,' thought Noah, as he walked into the house.

As he entered the house, Noah felt that this woman was looking directly at him. And with a small smile on his face he thought, 'Come on, kill me now…'

Catching a glimpse of that smile on Noah's face, the woman clearly got annoyed and went back to clenching her fists.

"Can we come in to talk? It's a little cold out here…" she said, as she contained her anger.

The girl turned and entered, the man already being afraid, he looked at each of the four and, after closing his eyes, he went a little to the side, and opened the way for them to pass. "Thanks." the woman spoke smiling as she passed him.

So, as she entered the house with the other three men and looked around, all she could see inside was a table with four chairs around it. And of those four chairs, two were already being occupied, one by Noah and the other by the girl who sat beside him.

The men parted and each of them went silently to a corner of the room, while the woman, with a smile on her face, she walked calmly to the table and sat down next to the girl while saying "I can sit at yours side, right Ting?"

"Of course." the girl replied.

And after that, the man came and sat in the only chair at the table that was free. So now there was Noah and, to his left, the man, and right after him, the woman, and the girl was already sitting on his right.

"I'll ask again, why does he want her to come back?"

"I already answered that question of yours, no?" replied the woman smiling.

"…It won't do any good if you have that fake smile on your face, because you know I know you too well. So answer my question."

The woman looked at the man who had her serious expression, and said "… I don't know, okay? They just sent me here to pick you up, and nothing else."

"What?! So he didn't even give you that order?"

She averted her gaze and with that the man immediately understood what the answer was. And while those two argued with each other, and Noah and the girl they were just silent listening to them, the three men who had come along with the woman looked at each other and after that, the three slowly began to draw their swords.
