The Holy City's Underground

As the most famous Beastmaster in the sacred city, Dickens' statement had benefitted himself more than it had benefitted Locke.

However, Locke did not mind. The underground bosses did not have a good reputation to begin with, and as such, he did not want to make any contact with them if possible.

Therefore, he appreciated having Dickens as his spokesperson.

Moreover, Dickens was very obedient. Thus, Lockee would rather leave the troublesome matters of dealing with the underground personnel to Dickens instead.

"Hurry up, don't waste my time..." Locke did not want to stay with these guys for too long.

At this moment, a wretched-looking guy rubbed his hands together and said, "Mr. Locke, I don't mean to offend, but I'd like to ask, are you going to fight them alone?"

Locke sized the guy up. "Is there anything wrong with that?"
