A second chance?

Liam's pov:

After rejecting mate I took Sofia to a hotel however touching her or kissing her only made me feel disgusted, "I want my mate in my arms" Josh my wolf spoke to me for the first time after I rejected mate." Me too" was all I could say.

But silvermoon is the sixth largest pack of werewolves a mere human being is not capable of leading it with me, I am not even the rightful alpha and if my dad found about my mate he will personally kill her. I need a powerful Luna by my side otherwise I won't be able to maintain the alpha position for long. I sighed sitting at the edge of the bed.

"Babe what are you thinking about.? " Sofia's irritating voice bought me out of my thoughts "How about I help you get rid of what's on your mind?" she said seductively. But after listening my mates voice, I don't find any voice seductive anymore. " Fuck off Sofia, I changed my mind I don't need you anymore just get out. " I said getting irritated.

Why can't I just get her out of my mind what's wrong with me. Ariel that name it's stuck in my head. The scene of rejection playing again and again in my mind like a broken tape.

"But you said you want me and now you want me to go what's wrong baby? " Sofia said.

"Just get out Sofia and be a slut with someone else. Leave. "

I said raising my voice.

"how dare you call me a slut" she slapped me and I deserved it after rejecting mate.

"Just suit yourself on a empty bed you are unworthy anyway, you don't deserve anyone. If I am a slut then what about you?". with that Sofia left leaving me with the thoughts of my beautiful mate. I admit that I have not saved myself for my mate and slept with a lot of girls but all of them were more than willing to sleep with me. And Sofia was right if she is a slut then I am no less than a man whore.

"You know we can get her back if we deny the rejection and if she accepts us" my wolf spoke full of hope. "let's find her tomorrow, she will give me a second chance right? " with that I drifted to sleep thinking of different ways to get my apology accepted.

Third person's pov :

Before entering in her territory some of the guards stopped Ariel and Samantha. Ariel looked at them in their eyes instantly making them aware of her position, they bowed slightly and allowed her to enter. She gave Samantha directions to the castle which she followed patiently.

Alan and Jackson were waiting in front of the door obviously notified by the guards, as soon as Jackson and Samantha saw each other they paused, their eyes fixed on each other, they were in their world till Alan cleared his throat and a blush crept on their cheeks. " Congrats on finding a worthy mate lord Jackson."  Ariel said while hugging Samantha and congratulating her as well. She was finally happy that Samantha will now stay with her forever.

"How about you give Samantha a tour of her soon to be home. " Ariel suggested trying to give them some time alone. "my pleasure. " Jackson said already holding Samantha's hand and heading towards the hall.

"You don't look well did something happen? " Alan asked with concern. Ariel hugged him tightly as her vision got blurry and tears started to leave her eyes. Why is it that we feel fine till someone really asks us how we are feeling. Why do we cry more when we have someone to hold us?

Alan didn't said a word and hugged Ariel with the same force. After sometime noticing that the water works are still going he picked her up bridal style and carried her towards the hall where Jackson and Samantha were chasing each other.

After they saw her crying they both stopped and looked at Ariel with their eyes filled with concern. Alan gently placed her on a sofa and three of them hugged her. After calming down a little Ariel decided to told Alan and Jackson about the whole situation including the little revenge on slut group (Sofia, Rain and Mona) they were laughing so hard that their eyes got all glassy, then she told them about her ex mate and how he rejected her at this point they both were shaking with anger, whole hall filled with silence.

"He is just a unworthy jerk who needs someone to teach him a good lesson. Mates are supposed to protect you and not to reject you because you are weak. " Alan broke the silence. "He is right, Ariel just remember what you told me you will also find a much more deserving second mate. Plus he belonged to silvermoon it's a nice thing that he rejected you. " Jackson joined in and looked at Samantha telling her to explain the situation later.

" I know that it was bound to happen and I never expected it to hurt this much it literally felt like half of my soul got torn away. Now I understand how you must have felt." Ariel said while placing her hand on Jackson's.
