My Alpha System

It wasn't like Kaden was trying to sound annoyed but it had slipped out when Lew asked. This has begun to be his natural reaction towards his race when speaking or trying to explain to someone else.

Lew was taken aback by his sudden change in tone which he didn't expect he had thought his question/curiosity wouldn't cause any harm due to how jokingly they were reacting to him. Lew began to blame himself for Kaden's change of reaction.
