Prologue

You know, after all these years, you would think that Reborn would learn not to trust Iemitsu's knowledge on his family. Given that he hasn't seen them in years.

But no.

He took the job, went to the location, expecting a dame student and an oblivious wife.

What does he find instead?

The mother sick and in the hospital with the child nowhere to be found. At all.

Oh sure the kids academic records were there, even in the top 10, but the kid was nowhere to be found. At all.

"Imetisu" he growled out when the idiot picked up the phone

"Reborn, how is my lovely wife and my dear Tsuna-fishie?" Iemitsu questioned

"Your wife is in the hospital with a sickness and your child is nowhere to be found!" Reborn nearly yelled into the phone.

"What?" Imetisu questioned as Reborn heard something clatter to the ground,

"It's exactly as I said you idiot! Your child's academic records are all there, but the kid is nowhere to be found" Reborn replied with a growl,

"I don't know what you are talking about, my sources never mentioned anything about this" Imetisu responded almost tense

"Doesn't matter, I'll find out why Nana is in hospital and I'll find the child, if not then I'm on vacation" Reborn replied before he hung up the phone and made his way to the hospital, unaware of the cold steel eyes that followed him.

On board a space ship, class 'Firefly' on of the few 'firefly' classes left, was a crew of 4 people, 2 females and 2 males, they had just completed a job, gotten paid and were heading back to their captains home. Or, well, they would be, if they didn't receive a transmission from someone in their captains home town.

"Hibari-Senpai, what do we owe the pleasure of you calling us?" questioned a female with long brown hair, brown eyes with a hint of amber, she wore a brown trench coat, dark orange shirt, brown pants and black thigh length boots. The back of her trench coat had an intricate designs of flames, tigers and a Phoenix, all in orange thread.

"There is a small carnivore asking around for you" Hibari replied, his eyes were cold steel grey and his hair was black, that was all that could be seen through the transmission.

"So someone like Skull-kun?" A female with purple hair pulled back into a spiked pony tail, an eyepatch covering one eye, her other eye a indigo showing as she stood to the left of the first female. This female wore a deep indigo shirt with black leggings and black boots, the leggings had small intricate designs of flames in indigo.

"What's the description?" The first female questioned

"Black hair, black eyes, wearing a black suit and has a fedora with a green lizard" hibari replied back, the first female narrowed her brown eyes as they flashed amber,

"That sounds like Reborn the Greatest Hitman on earth and also the Sun Arcobaleno" she stated

"Meaning he was sent by Vongola most likely the ninth don" the other female added thoughtfully.

"Which I don't understand why, they have both Leyasu and Natsuyo, why would they be looking for me?" The first female questioned with a frown,

"Nebula, fetch Mukuro and Skull for me please" the first female asked the second female kindly, the second female now known as 'Nebula' nodded before leaving and heading to where the 2 males were.

The first female turned back to face Hibari

"Find out why he is looking for me, transfer mama to your household and keep her under tight security, also check with how her condition is coming along" the first female said as her eyes turned amber,

"If they are looking for me and Reborn knows that Mama is in the hospital, it means he will visit her and he has already informed Imetisu" she continued as she ran a hand through her hair, spiking it even more then it already was.

"I'll have to contact papa Mal and see what he thinks, also inform Takeshi-nii and our allies and the girls, Vongola is on the move" she finished with a nod. Hibari had a dangerous smirk on his face as he listened to his sky's orders

"Of course omnivore" Hibari replied with

"Good luck Hibari, be safe" she responded before the transmission was cut.

The female sighed as the transmission was cut before she sat down in her seat and changed course, looks like she was paying a visit to the man who became like a father to her.

While she changed course she tapped at the screen next to her and waited for a response, soon enough the screen flicked to life to show a female with brown hair, brown eyes and wearing a blue dress,

"Hey River-nee, I need to talk with Papa Mal please" the female said with a smile, River smiled softly before nodding and leaving the screen before a male returned.

"Heard you wanted to speak with me" the male stated with a smirk

"Hey Papa Mal, you remember when Skull informed you of who I was and who my sperm donor was and who he worked for?" The female questioned, and man now known as 'Mal' frowned

"That I do, why?" Mal replied with, it was a bitch and a half to deal with the Vindice to remove the seal on his adoptive daughter and the little sister/niece of the crew.

"Turns out, for some reason, Vongola ninth sent Reborn to Namari looking for me" the female replied with earning a curse from the person who was more of a father to her then Imetisu ever was or ever will be.

"Your joking? Don't they still have your brothers?" Mal questioned with a raised eyebrow while crossing his arms over his red shirt and brown trench coat.

"They do from what Fon and Mammon had told me, apparently both Leyasu and Natsuyo are being trained to take over the positions of Decimo and CEDEF leader respectively. I'll have to ask Mammon how Xanxaus-nii is doing as well" the female said as she swiveled in her seat,

"Hmm, now I don't do politics, that's Inala's area, especially not mafia politics, but if they still have your brothers, then why are they looking for you?" Mal questioned

"No idea, but I am heading your way to meet up with you currently, if you would be so kind as to tell me where you are" the female stated as she tilted her head side ways and backwards when she heard footsteps approaching,

"We are by White Hall, we are about to land as Patince has a job for us, we can wait for you and your crew to show up" Mal replied, the female smiled as she felt a weight land on her head

"Hello Skull" she greeted the small cursed male who smirked back before focusing on Mal as Nebula and Mukuro took up their positions on either side of her,

"We can meet you on White Hall, and discuss what happens next, worse comes to worse I contact Byakuran, Emma and Yuni and see if we can do something" the female replied with a smile which was anything but pleasent

"And if your brothers and pathetic excuse of a father come knocking?" Mal questioned

"Well, the operative does owe me a few favours" the female replied with a dark smirk which had Jane cackling

"Oh I knew there was a reason I like you!" Jane cackled as he came into view beside Mal

"Oh that is good, what did you do though to get that bastard to owe you favours?" Mal questioned, his smirk equally as dark

"Nothing much, just promised to not set my murderous mist on him when I learned what he did to you and others on your crew" the female replied with

"Also saved his ass from a few reavers" she added as an after thought. That comment had both Mal and Jane frozen before they laughed

"Oh we have raised you well Serenity, we have raised you well" Mal commented through his laughs, the now named 'Serenity' giggled softly.

"Thank you Papa Mal, Hibari moved Mama to his household so that no-one can get to her, he is also going to inform my allies in Namori about what is happening" Serenity informed them.

"Good, we can talk more when we get to White Hall" Mal stated with a nod

"May you fly safe and high papa" Serenity said with a smile

"You as well daughter, may your ship never fail and no-one take the sky from you" Mal replied before the transmission cut.

"Well guys" Serenity stated as she swivelled around to face her crew as Skull jumped from her head to land on Mukuro's shoulder,

"Course has been set for White Hall, Nebula, make sure the cabins are clean, Mukuro make sure the kitchen is stocked and Skull check the engine, I'll be contacting Xanxaus-nii and Dino-nii and a few others to learn more about what is going on with Vongola" Serenity ordered earning smirks from the trio in front of her,

"Of course Captain, this is going to be fun" Skull stated earning nods from the others before the trio left to do their assigned tasks and Serenity turned back around to face the wheel and the transmission pad.

"Bring it on Vongola" she muttered with a smirk.
