The second day came and Hoshiro was still uneasy. He wanted to see what his other was up to, but did not spy on his opponent as he thought it would be dishonourable to scout what was in store for him.
He sat down to have breakfast. It was sausage and eggs and mushrooms and lentils. A hearty breakfast for champions.
After giving thanks for the meal, he started to wander around the city, not quite sure what he was looking for and what he wants to do with the remaining day. He would have to journey out tomorrow on the back of Phoebe to make it in time to meet at the plains of Alfalas. But he did not want to think battle.
Craving peace, he went to a pond in the middle of the city, under some shade of a peach tree.
Sitting down and humming a tone, he whistled to the falling leaves. In the pond, he could see koi fishes swimming about leisurely and he decided to stroke the surface of the water and make friends with the fish.
