EARLIER THAT MORNING:
Sawyer woke that morning to the sound of Waverly lightly snoring beside him. The sun reflected off the green leaves outside of the window in their bedroom, creating a light emerald shade that cast its way into the space. He looked over at Waverly, who had fallen asleep on her back, and touched his lips gently to her temple, trying to avoid disturbing her.
He stepped out of bed as quietly as humanly possible and made his way to the suitcase to grab a clean, white v-neck. Tossing it over his head, he made his way out of the room, taking one last look at Waverly before closing the door.
