The next day arrived very quickly. Issei got up and proceeded downstairs to get some breakfast. In the kitchen he could spot his mother preparing breakfast alongside Asia who wanted to learn how to cook which Ophis was happy to do. His mother did enjoy cooking alongside Asia whom she viewed as a daughter. In fact, she had even insisted for Asia to call her mother when she heard of her backstory. The same went for his father who didn't mind if she wanted to call him father. Asia teared over the fact that they had accepted her so easily as a daughter given that she had never had parents, being an orphan. From that point, she started calling them Oka-san and Oto-san. Issei already viewed her as a little sister so he was happy to see his parents having taken a liking to her.
"Morning everyone" he greeted everyone as he walked down the stairs.
"Morning Issei-san" He was first greeted by Asia who smiled at him followed by his mother who looked back at him.
"Good morning Issei! Breakfast is almost ready. You should also get seated Asia."
"Hai, o-oka-san" Asia answered a bit nervously. It was funny how she was still a bit nervous in calling them that but it was part of her charm so they didn't mind. After both of them grabbed a seat, Issei decided to check if Asia was aware of today's meeting and maybe what it entailed as he kind of forgot to ask Akeno yesterday before leaving for home.
"Asia, it would seem that Rias-Buchou has asked us to gather at the ORC for a meeting. Do you know what it is about?" he inquired but Asia shook her head indicating she didn't know.
"Sorry Ise-san, I don't know. All I know is that Rias-buchou asked me to come by the clubroom and she would explain things then." She told him while eating a dragon apple.
Issei nodded.
"Alright, don't worry about it. We'll find out when we get there today." With that said, they went back to finishing their breakfast. His mother soon joined them. Asia looked around and was wondering where Great-red was and if he was going to join them. Ophis, at the mentioned of her husband seemed slightly annoyed but she tried to relax in front of Asia telling her that he was currently somewhere else at the moment. Most likely, after yesterday's stunt, his father was probably wondering the dimensional gap or at his sensei's place until Ophis lets him come back.
In any case, after having finished eating, both of them bid farewell to Ophis before heading out to school to meet with everyone. The journey to school was an amusing one as Issei explained to Asia the reason why his father wasn't with them this morning. She obviously found it funny considering the chuckle coming out her. Speaking of yesterday, Issei decided to ask her about a particular thing…
"By the way, I saw that all of you tried to follow us during our date." He said with a smirk making Asia look away in embarrassment recalling the incident yesterday.
"Y-y-yes! I'm-I'm-I'm so s-sorry Issei-san." Asia stuttered clearly illustrating how embarrassed and ashamed she was for having trailed him and Akeno. She even bowed towards him to apologize for her actions. However, Issei did not mind at all and he patted her head gently.
"Don't worry about it, Asia! I figured that it was probably Rias or even Matsuda's idea to follow us so I am not mad at you or anyone for that matter. If anything, it was a fun experience for both myself and Akeno. She had a blast running away from you guys so everything is fine." Seeing that Issei forgave her helped her relax a bit as she looked up to face him.
"T-Thank you Issei-san" she smiled.
"Your welcome. By the way, what happened after we gave you the slip?"
"umm, after we lost sight of you and Akeno-fukubuchou, we all searched for you for a bit. But, after a while, Rias-buchou gave up and told us to head back home and that we had a meeting today." Asia explained.
"I see. Oh, it seems we have arrived." They were so engrossed in their conversation; they didn't realize that they had arrived at their destination. They then headed towards the old school building where the ORC clubroom is located. Issei could feel all the members present there so they were all waiting for them. He could have simply teleported with Asia but he enjoyed taking leisure walks to school. Anyways, no point in keeping them waiting any longer he thought as they both made their way to the familiar entrance of their clubroom.
Knock Knock
He knocked twice before hearing the president's voice granting them entrance.
"Come in."
Issei opened the door as they both entered.
"We're here. Sorry to have kept you waiting." Issei stated as he looked around the room. Rias was seated behind her desk as usual with Akeno standing right behind her. She gave him a smile and a nod to welcome him. Matsuda and Koneko were each seated on their respective sofas with Koneko eating her own snacks as usual. Matsuda gave a friendly wave to welcome them which was reciprocated by Issei. Kiba was located at his spot near the window, as calm and alert as usual. Asia soon went and took a seat near Matsuda while Issei took a seat near Koneko who simply nodded at him but he understood it was her way of greeting him so he returned it.
"It's no trouble at all, Issei-kun. Thank you for coming." He redirected his attention to Rias who thanked him for joining them.
"Now, I'm sure you are curious as to why I asked you all to gather here." She received a nod from Issei which she took as a sign to continue.
"This meeting is mostly in regards to Asia and Matsuda-kun" Both aforementioned person looked at Rias upon hearing that this meeting was regarding them.
"Us, Buchou?" Matsuda inquired.
"Yes. Now that both of you are capable of signing a contract, you have now officially graduated from handing out flyers. Originally, these jobs were to be handled by a familiar which is why I believe it finally time for the both of you to get your own familiars" Rias announced. Asia and Matsuda were both looking at her in confusion.
"W-what's a familiar Buchou?" Asia asks.
"A Familiar is something that is considered to be a requirement after you become a devil. They help assist their masters in various tasks such as information gathering, relaying messages as well as perform other tedious tasks that their master could think of. In your case, it would be handing out flyers to people. There are many different types of familiars and some of them could even help you in battle." Rias explained to them.
Issei hummed. That was an excellent idea especially for Asia. If she contracted with a strong familiar then it would be able to provide an additional layer of protection for her in case of trouble. It would greatly help lessen his worries over her safety if that was the case. He didn't want another situation such as the fallen angel incident to occur again. Surely, Issei reasoned, someone out there had the same goal as Raynare and would use an innocent like Asia to achieve it. It made his blood boil, that people would try to steal another's power.
"That's awesome! So it means Asia and I are getting a promotion! Am I finally becoming a Mid-class devil" Matsuda pumped his fists thinking he was finally on the right track to become a high class devil and being able to build his harem. Rias couldn't help but chuckled at his enthusiasm but had to correct him.
"I suppose you could look at it that way; however, I'm sorry to say that you cannot be promoted to mid-class devil simply by possessing a familiar. Promotion isn't as easy as that." Rias rectified which caused Matsuda to slump down back on his sofa, feeling down.
"aahhhh, man" he whined but he should have known better.
"Anyways, let's get you both a familiar." She said before directing her attention towards Issei.
"Issei-kun, would you be interested in accompanying to the familiar forest. That is why I asked you to come today." She inquired. Issei was very interested in the process so he nodded his head.
"Yes, I would though I thought only members of a peerage were allowed there." He recalled his sensei's explanation about the familiar forest and remembered him explaining that only devils are allowed to go there.
"Don't worry, I've already finished all the needed preparation for you to join us." She conjured up a piece of paper.
"All I need is your signature here, and for the remaining of the day, you will be considered a temporary member of my peerage" she explained handing the paper to Issei. 'Really? I didn't know they could something like that'. Issei knew they could reincarnate others into devils through the evil pieces but he had never heard of temporary contracts. It shows that there is a lot about devil culture that he has yet to understand. But, for now, this solves the issue. While his pride wouldn't allow him to become a servant to someone weaker than him even temporarily, this was for the sake of Asia as well as his curiosity so he signed the contract.
"By the way, since you said that we are going to get a familiar for Asia and Matsuda, I assume it means that all of you already have your own familiars." Issei inquired making Rias impressed at how perceptive he was.
"How astute of you Issei. That is correct! Since we are talking on the subject how about we show you our familiars." Rias reached out her hand and an oddly spherical shaped bat thing popped out.
The dragon stared at it for a moment. 'Is that thing really her familiar? How the heck can that thing aid her in battle.' This honestly wasn't what Issei was expecting when he heard they all had familiars.
Even Matsuda looked confused but for a different reason.
"How the heck is thing supposed to hand out flyers when it doesn't even have any hands" he said point at the little guy. Rias smiled before the bat changed shape and turned into it's human form. Matsuda gaped when he saw her due to the fact that he recognized her.
"AHHH, she is the one who handed me the flyer before my date with Raynare" Indeed, this was the girl who handed him Rias flyer right before his date. He never thought that this was Rias familiar.
"Indeed, as you can see some familiars have the ability to turn into human form like mine and they are extremely helpful for handling various tasks." She said as her familiar transformed back into a bat.
"I have a familiar too." Several green like imps suddenly appeared on her shoulders. "They are called tiny demons" she added however Issei thought they looked more like cactuses than demons. Definitely not something that could help protecting his mate.
"Aww, is that your familiar Koneko-chan" Asia squeaked when she saw the cute small white cat with Hazel eyes sitting on Koneko's lap.
"Yes, this is Shiro"
Matsuda gushed at the sight. 'Aw, Koneko-chan has got a little kitty. Kind of looks exactly like her'.
Issei thought that the familiar fit her perfectly considering her scent was distinctly catlike and her name literally mean cat.
"Wanna see mine. It's pretty cool" Kiba asked only to be rejected by Matsuda
"I don't want to see your anything" urging the knight to facepalm before looking at Issei who understood what he wanted to say.
"Sure, why not!" A small bird then materialized on his shoulder. It was pretty cute especially when the bird quickly hid behind Kiba when it spotted Koneko's cat staring right at it. Their familiars were pretty cool however it did not ease his worry that they couldn't be used in combat to protect them.
Seeing his look, Rias questioned him.
"Is something the matter Issei-kun? You look kind off disappointed."
"It's not that I'm disappointed, it's just that" he rubbed the back of his head before continuing "I pictured something different when you said that familiars could be used in battle, I thought they would be powerful familiars that could stand alongside you as an additional layer of protection which actually set my mind at ease especially for Asia-chan so I honestly didn't expect this. I don't mean any offense to your familiars; they are cute and I'm sure they can handle your devil tasks efficiently but in terms of being able to protect you from the enemy, I just don't see it." Issei explained, a bit sheepish of his overprotectiveness however everyone smiled since they understood he was only worried about their safety.
"I understand Issei-kun. I agree with your assessment that our familiars aren't combat oriented however there are two reasons for that" She raised 2 fingers and lowered one.
"The first is that most powerful familiars will only acknowledge you if you are powerful enough to subdue them. Strength has always been a major factor when involving familiars and even though it hurts to admit this, we aren't strong enough to be able to claim powerful familiars yet." Issei nodded understanding the principle. He was a dragon and he respected strength. Tannin had even told him that in his days before he became a devil, some fools tried to subdue him thinking it would bring them fame and prestige for having a dragon king as a familiar but instead got incinerated for it. What a bunch of idiots thinking they could take on a dragon king and even worst making him a familiar.
Unaware of his thoughts, Rias brought down her second finger and explained the other reason "The second reason is due to the Rating Games. Now, I don't know how much you know of culture but the Rating Games in our society were created right after the introduction of the Evil pieces by Lord Ajuka. It is basically a competition that is held between high class devils and their peerages where they can showcase their strength and abilities to the entire Underworld. The Rating Game is used to measure a Devil's strength which will reflect their social standing in the Underworld. It is one of the ways lower class devils can promote to mid and high class by showcasing their abilities." This caught Matsuda's attention since he wanted to advance to high class as soon as he could.
"That's cool but what does that have to do with familiars?" Issei asked wondering what relationship those two had.
"I was getting to that. Now, familiars were allowed during a rating game. However, there arouse a slight problem. If a devil possessed a powerful familiar, they would simply use them to overpower their opponents without taking the field themselves. In fact, in the past there have been several fights where devils simply let their powerful familiars do the fighting for them and it became a battle of familiars rather than a battle between peerages which completely defeated the purpose of a rating game. Granted, it was fun for the children to watch monsters fighting one another, it became boring for everyone else. Rating Games were supposed to be a form of entertainment for the Underworld where they could watch Devils battle it out against one another and allow low class devils the opportunity to showcase their ability in order to promote to a higher status. To solve this problem, the higher ups placed a heavy restriction on using powerful familiars in order to fix the issue. So, for instance, if I were to try having you participate as my familiar in a rating game, you would probably not be allowed to take stage because you are simply too powerful and could probably deal with the other peerage all by yourself" Issei seemed to become a bit smug when he received such a complimented by rias of his strength.
"As a result, hardly anyone uses powerful familiars anymore since they couldn't use them in matches so everyone now settles for weaker familiars like ours that could be used for reconnaissance and other purposes. In addition, we are currently in a ceasefire with the other factions so there is no chance to be involved in any major battle. So far, the worst conflict we faced are dealing with stray devil which we are highly capable of doing. The fallen angel incident was a very rare case normally never happens since no fallen angel should have been stupid enough to come in a devil's territory." Rias took a breath after finally having finished her lengthy explanation.
Matsuda seemed to have smoke coming out of his head as his brain couldn't keep up with so much information. Asia looked at her president in awe at her extensive knowledge while Issei nodded his head while crossing his arms having understood her reason behind Rias and the others not possessing powerful familiars.
"Seems these rating games are more complex than I thought"
"Yes, they are but that is what makes it so exciting. In fact, it is one of my dreams to become the Rating games champion alongside my peerage by defeating the current champion."
"Who is the current champion?" Issei asked Rias.
"It's Diehauser Belial-sama who is the head of the Belial clan. Ever since he first participated in the Rating Games, he has been dominating his matches and to this day has remained undefeated earning him the title "The Emperor". He is an extremely powerful devil said to rival the powers of the Maou; however, I know that someday we will surpass him"
"It's said that the top five champions of the Rating games are considered unmovable from their positions because they each held it for a very long time. That holds especially true for the 3rd ranked Bedeze Abaddon-sama, the 2nd ranked Roygun Belphegor-sama and 1st ranked Diehauser Belial-sama. All three of them are considered monsters. Ultimate class devils among ultimate class said to rival the maous power as Buchou said. They really are fearsome." Kiba added to Rias explanation.
Issei whistled "Wow, you certainly have your work cut for you." He was impressed by her determination. He briefly wondered how he would fare against such powerful adversaries. A part of him seemed thrilled with the idea to battle them. He was a dragon after all.
"Anyways, the next time we are allowed to go to the familiar forest is on the next full moon which is happening today."
There was a loud knock on the door causing Matsuda to jump in fright while Issei quickly turned but immediately loosened up when he sensed who was behind the door. Akeno giggled at his reaction "Come in."
The door opened and a bunch of people in Kuoh Academy uniform entered. Issei immediately recognized two of them considering he saw them when he first came to school. The Student council president Sona Shitori as well as Tsubaki. The rest of them must be her fellow peerage members he suspected considering they were all devils.
"Forgive me for the interruption" Sona spoke as she apologized to Rias.
"Who are those people Issei?" Asia questioned.
Issei whispered quietly "They are the Student council of our school. The one who just spoke is Sona Shitori who is the student council president. The others, I believe are her peerage members since they are all devils."
"Good guess, Issei." Akeno pitched in. "Her real name is Sona Sitri and is the current heiress to the Sitri clan which is a big family" That made sense to Issei although its surprising that there were 2 families in charge of a single territory
"I didn't know there were other devils" Asia whispered quietly. She seemed nervous. He smiled and gave her a pat on the head to sooth her.
"Sorry, I should have mentioned it before but with all that has happened, it had completely slipped my mind."
"I don't mind at all Sona. How can I help you?" Rias didn't mind the intrusion.
Sona raised her glasses "Nothing really, but it slipped my mind to congratulate you on increasing the size of your peerage." She looked at both Matsuda and Asia who nervously hid behind both Issei and Matsuda.
"So, what exactly are you doing here?" Issei ventured to ask although it didn't seem to sit well with the only guy in Sona's group as he glared at him.
"Hey, you should address Kaichou with proper respect. Why do you let a human like him hang around you Rias-sempai"
'A human'? Issei raised a brow wondering why he believed him to be a human but before he could ask Matsuda spoke first since the blond's attitude struck a nerve with him
"Oy, you got a problem buddy" he glared back at guy cracking his knuckles before Rias raised an arm stopping him. Sona seems to have expected this with a heavy sigh.
"Saji, it is improper to get involved in the affairs of other families." His attitude took a 180 when the president addressed him
"yes, Kaichou" Based on his reaction, the boy seems to be infatuated with Sona.
"Sorry about his behaviour. This is Saji Genjirou, my pawn" she introduced him to the rest.
"This is Matsuda Suzuki, my pawn and my cute little kouhai next to him is Asia Argento, my newly reincarnated Bishop. Finally, this is Issei Hyoudou, a high class dragon and a member of my club" Rias introduced her members including Issei even though he wasn't a member of her peerage much to her regret.
"a-a dragon" Saji gasped "How is he a dragon? I don't feel an once of power coming from him. In fact, I barely sense anything at all" argued Saji, not believing that Issei was a dragon.
'Really, that's what he bases it on. Doesn't he know that we can hide our power? He must be a new devil as well to not understand such a basic concept' That was what Issei was thinking. What caught his attention however was that only Sona and Tsubaki were not surprised at the revelation meaning that she must have either figured it out or Rias must have told her… Whatever, it wasn't important at the present moment. He will ask her later.
"Hah, whats wrong, jealous that you aren't as strong as us" mocked Matsuda which definitely got a reaction out of Saji.
"In your dreams" he grinned haughtily before raising four fingers "I took up 4 pawn pieces and my sacred gear contains a dragon king within it. Do you seriously thing you stand a chance against me bro"
So he does possess a fragment of the dragon king Vritra. It did explain why Issei could sense a faint draconic aura coming from him. How interesting although he is seriously overestimating his ability if he thinks that is enough to qualify for strength.
Sona sighed at her servant's cocky proclamation "Please calm down Saji. Besides Rias pawn took all 8 pieces and is the wielder of the Longinus Boosted gear, host to the Heavenly dragon Ddraig."
"W-What" he gasped in shock and this time it was Matsuda who looked all cocky but Sona wasn't done.
"Furthermore, neither Rias nor myself could reincarnate Issei due to his strength. He is, by far, the strongest person in this room and could most likely deal with both our peerages very easily. He is also the person who single handily dealt with the fallen angel incident regarding Rias new Bishop. It's always best to check the facts before assuming anything Saji, less you only make a fool of yourself."
"Y-yes, Kaichou" Saji responded with his head down, embarrassed. Issei whistled in his mind as he reassessed his evaluation of Sona. She was indeed very intelligent. He wouldn't want to play against her in a strategic game like chess. However, since she knew about the fallen angel incident, it stands to reason that she must have heard it from Rias.
"Thank you for the praise, Sona-kaichou. Although, the credit isn't only mine to take. I wasn't alone after all. Rias and the others did come along and help me fight them." The others smiled at his humbleness. Sona herself, seemed surprised that a dragon, a being of pride and power, acknowledged the fact that others helped him.
"how humble of you to say that."
"eh, it's just the truth" he said with a shrug.
With the pleasantries out of the way, Sona introduced herself to the new members.
"Anyways, if you didn't already know, my name is Sona Sitri and I am the Student Council president at this school. Behind are all the members of my peerage." She pointed behind her and each member including Saji gave a small bow as a form of greeting.
Issei and Matsuda both waved their hand while Asia, having gathered her courage stepped out from behind Issei and bowed.
"It's-It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Asia Argento" she introduced herself. Saji's eyes immediately lit up when he spotted Asia quickly grabbing her hand.
"Well hello there Asia-chan. It truly is a pleasure. I must say, are you sure you aren't an angel because you look like you fell straight out of heaven." Asia fumbled nervously not knowing how to answer while Matsuda seemed extremely irked by Saji's action. He jumped in, twisting the guys wrist forcing him to let go of Asia as he cried out in pain. "Hey, get your hands off of her before I shove them down your throat you damn pervert." Matsuda yelled.
"HAH, I do not want to be called that by one of out school most troublesome perverts, you idiot." Saji rebutted as they both started butting heads with each other.
Rias and Sona both sighed at their respective pawns antics.
"My apologies Rias, he is young. He has no idea of the finer points of civility so I hope you'll forgive him."
"Don't worry about it. If anything, it seems both our pawns lack any form of restraint. I'm sorry for his behaviour as well. It is a bit embarrassing though."
"Isn't it". They both shared a small laugh as the insults continued between both pawns. Issei also seemed to laugh at how similar those two were even though they would never admit it. Both of them were still arguing until they came upon the topic of familiars
"Hah, do you even have a familiar!" Matsuda growled.
"No, but I'm about to get one soon."
"Yeah right. Asia and I will get our familiars years before you get yours."
Sona's features lit up with understanding. "Ah, so you are planning on heading to the familiar forest"
"Yes" answered the crimson haired princess "I was thinking about going today."
"Hmm. I was also intending on going today but the familiar master only takes one group at a time per full moon."
"How about a friendly competition then." Grinned Rias.
"a contest?"
"indeed and whoever wins can get their familiar first. What do you think?" Rias had full confidence in her peerage's ability to win in any competition against her childhood friend.
Sona adjusted her glasses "While that sounds fun, I do not think we would stand a chance against your team if Issei Hyoudou participates. I've seen and heard of his feats in school to know that we wouldn't stand much of a chance against him. So, you guys can go first." She had seen Issei trounce his entire class during P.E including Kiba and Matsuda who were both devils in every single sport without breaking a sweat and she knew that even then he was holding back therefore she could not even envision herself and her peerage coming out on top for any competition they might decide.
"Your no fun Sona" Rias complained with a sigh. She was about to continue before issei intervened.
"If that's what you are concerned about then you don't need to worry. I won't participate in the competition." He said surprising both heiresses.
"are you sure?" Sona questioned and received a nod from Issei.
"Yes, I don't mind. Besides, this would be a competition between both your peerages and I am not a member of Rias peerage so it wouldn't be right for me to intervene. I'll just spectate."
"I see… In that case, I accept. But first thing's first." Sona went and gripped her pawn's ear dragging him away from his argument with Matsuda.
"Please calm and behave yourself Saji. You are a member of my peerage and I expect you to behave accordingly please. Now, regarding this matter, Rias and I have agreed to hold a contest and whichever peerage wins will be granted the opportunity to get their familiars first." Sona explained.
"Yes Kaic—WAIT WHAT. Wait a minute, how are we supposed to win in any competition when they have Issei Hyoudou on their team. He's a monster at every sport he competed during PE. It's not fair" Saji complained. Even if he didn't want to admit it, he knew they stood no chance against Issei at sports. He was insanely good, whether it was due to being a dragon or not, who knew.
A small tick could be seen forming on Sona's forehead, indicating she was starting to get slightly annoyed at her pawn.
"If you had been paying attention to our conversation earlier instead of bickering with Rias pawn, then you would have noticed that Issei had agreed to not participate in our contest." That surprised a few of them.
"Seriously! Why would you do that Issei?" Matsuda questioned as he seemed to be the most surprised.
Issei sighed. "Because this is a matter regarding two peerages and it wouldn't be fair for me who isn't a member of a peerage to intervene in such matters so I decided to leave it all up to you guys to settle this. I'll simply observe but I will cheer for you guys if that helps."
Seeing that Issei wasn't participating, Saji confidence rose up tremendously.
"Awesome! If we don't have to worry about the dragon, then this is going to be a cinch."
"Like hell it is. Even without Issei, we will clobber you guys and be victorious" Before they started bickering again, Rias decided to intervene
"In any case, it's time for us to choose what manner of competition we will take part in. Any suggestions."
"How about Dodgeball?" Issei said the first thing that came to mind. It was a team sport which is perfect considering they had both peerages present.
"I second that" Both Matsuda and Saji answered simultaneously as they both glared at one another. Their motives very clearly displayed in their expression.
Seeing as there was no objections, both Rias and Sona agreed to settle this matter with a dodgeball game.
"Very well. It seems we have decided on the contest. Let's head over to our school's gym. Tsubaki, do you have the keys?" Sona asked her queen who nodded and took out the keys to the gym.
"Good then lets go." Sona stated before leaving the ORC first with her peerage who was followed by Rias and her peerage and of course Issei.
Both teams stood ready, waiting for the game to begin. Issei was seated on the sidelines to observe the match that is about to unfold alongside Asia. She wasn't exactly the athletic type so Rias asked her to sit this one out. Furthermore, due to her kindness, she didn't like to hurt anyone in any shape or form so a game like dodgeball wasn't suited for her.
In any case, this dodgeball game became a 5 on 5 and both teams were waiting for Issei to give the signal to begin. At first, Rias told Sona that she didn't mind if she added an extra person since it was supposed to be 6 versus 6 but Sona rejected for the sake of fairness. It's funny how ironic that sounds coming from a devil. You would think those things would only be said by an angel.
"Both sides ready" Issei stated. Everyone nodded.
"Begin."
With his signal, the match was underway. It seemed to be anormal game as long as you ignore the crazy scene occurring between Matsuda and Saji who only focused on eliminating one another and ignoring everyone else. In a way, Issei considered it a miracle that Matsuda was actually focusing on his opponent rather then on the girls. Seemed his perverseness was shadowed by his distaste of Saji.
The game was moving at a steady pace until everyone started to use their demonic powers. Eventually, the first one to be eliminated was Saji, who unfortunately got eliminated by Matsuda who held a smug face while Saji looked enraged with himself for being eliminated by the pervert. Unfortunately, with the object of his distaste now eliminated, he had to focus back on the other members which caused his perverted side to come out as he was very distracted by the student councils' members breasts jiggling up and down from all the throwing and dodging. With his guard down, he was hit straight in the face ricocheting backwards. However before falling, he yelled
"I have no… regrets" before falling unconscious. What a funny guy thought Issei as he grabbed Matsuda and brought him off the field, near Asia who was very worried about him as she healed him with her sacred gear.
Anyways, the game continued on and eventually the only 2 members left on each team were Rias and Akeno versus Sona and Tsubaki.
Finding a quick opening, Rias launched her ball towards Tsubaki who couldn't react in time and was thus eliminated. However, Sona took that moment to shoot her ball towards Rias who was off balance and could not dodge. However, to Sona's surprise, Akeno protected Rias by moving in front of her and taking the shot instead thus being eliminated.
Unfortunately, that one moment of surprise caused her to lose the game, as she saw Rias come from behind Akeno with a ball in hand.
'Where did she get the ball from so fast' She looked at Akeno who was smiling and she immediately understood what had happened. Just as Akeno got eliminated, she passed her ball to Rias while blocking Sona's view so Sona did not expect Rias to be able to engage yet.
'Brilliant' Sona smiled before she got eliminated by Rias throw. With that, the match was over and Rias team won. Sona took a deep breath and congratulated her childhood friend.
"Congratulations on your victory, Rias. As promised, you can head to the familiar forest with your team." Sona held out her hand. Rias smiled and shook her hand.
"Thank you, Sona. It was a close one. You nearly had me there if it wasn't for Akeno."
"Indeed. In any case, it time for us to leave now that the matter has been settled." The other members of Sona's peerage started flooding out of the room now that the 'battle' is over. Saji was still pissed but left peacefully. They had lost and he knew it.
After all of them left, Rias turned to her peerages plus Issei.
"Alright, since we won, we will be able to make that trip to the familiar forest and finally get both Asia and Matsuda-kun their own familiars"
"Awesome" Matsuda was super excited to get his own familiar. With any luck, he might be able to get a sexy familiar that will fulfill his every wish.
"R-really, so soon!" Asia asked hesitantly.
Rias placed her hands on her hips. "Yes, and don't worry to much about it. I know you are both ready which is why I suggested it in the first place. Now, let's head to the familiar forest."
