Chapter 44

She hadn't told him her password and had never used her computer in front of him. It kind of bothered her that he figured it out but she wouldn't freak. The only explanation for him knowing her password was that he knew her better than she thought and that was a plus. So, she quietly watched him navigate the internet from her bed.

"Were there any other people there, like around you?" he asked after a minute or so?

"Other than my mother," she said, "yes."

"Did you know any of the other people?"

"No, but," she started, "I may have known the person she was speaking to, sort of. But his back was to me the entire time, why?"

"One more question. You said you were outside. Have you seen or been to the place you saw before?"

"No," she answered curiously, "but it looked familiar."

Tristan moved slightly to the side and waved her over to look at the computer screen. Cianne got up from her bed and walked over to her desk. She looked at the image on the screen.
