"We have a situation here, Vyo."
"What do you mean?" His eyebrows went down in surprise. Halverson didn't answer. He looked directly at Jenkins. Sky appeared out of the upstairs doorway. Vyo looked at Jenkins, back at Halverson. "Joshua?" he said quietly, "I will not tell anyone." He glanced at another Peoples Fleeter a few tables away. "They're not even looking for you. Why should I tell them?"
"For gain," said Halverson, "to get ahead, for privilege."
"I'm not like that! I could care less."
Sky bounced naked up to them, looking a bit flushed Halverson thought. She rubbed up against Vyo. "Is this boy for me?" She grinned and buried Vyo's face in her cleavage and winked at Halverson, who nodded for her to take Vyo upstairs now.
