Halverson walked with Sky across the tarmac toward the looming freight shuttle from the Raintree. The sun flashed brightly from heat shimmer in the distance. They were out in the open, with no one in earshot; yet he didn't feel the least bit nervous. Jenkins and the crazy spacer named Zeno were taking care of Vyo's berth. They should be along very soon. It looked like the shuttle was all loaded.
"So," said Sky, looking around, gauging whether listening devices might, even now, be trained on them. "You want to debrief here? While we have a chance."
Halverson was much more cautious. "I don't believe that would be wise. I don't have much trust for these spacers."
