I collapsed, gasping and coughing, unable to open my eyes. I felt Prince Talandrian lift me and carry me in his arms, other hands held cloths to my face. Whispers abounded, but everyone was joyously amazed by the event. It was several minutes later when I opened my eyes and surveyed my surroundings. I was by the blacksmith's forge resting peacefully on blankets. There was quite the crowd enjoying the warmth and friendship.
Sieren poured hot water into a cup and handed it to Talon, who added a few dry leaves and swirled them around,
"You are more than welcome to stay the night. We are so thankful, to all of you," the blacksmith spoke. "Thank you. Thank you."
A brown - haired woman in a cream coloured dress addressed Talon, "We are so lucky you came when you did."
The blacksmith moved out of Talon's way as the prince brought the tea over to me, still stirring its contents.
"Is everyone alright?" I asked breathlessly. The brown - haired woman smiled and nodded.
