Elias took my hand and led me down the hallway with Xander on my other side. 


“So, where are we going?” I asked, thoroughly confused. “After the divine meal you just lavished upon me, I can’t imagine that it gets any better than this.”


Xander lifted my hand to his lips and kissed it. “We’ll be there soon. We don’t want to spoil the surprise.”


I nodded, understanding. I didn’t want to spoil anything for them, either. Oftentimes, giving a surprise is just as much fun as receiving it. I tried to be a good sport and put it from my mind but stopping at the elevator only piqued my curiosity. 


“Nope,” Elias cut me off, giving me a sexy smile. “You agreed.”
