It had been around a week or so since Kil had transferred into Ashun, and it was mostly uneventful. Despite the incredible facilities that the school provided for each of the classes, it mostly the same kind of procedure as any other high school.

Over the time he's been here, he had acquainted himself with a number of his peers, though not to the point he would consider them 'good' friends, though they were definitely on good terms. He had mostly just hung out with Ryu most of the time.

He understood why the people in this institute were so much better behaved compared to how people normally are, and that was because this school took bullying and such very seriously. This school is the best of the best, so they expect their students to behave themselves correctly.

Today was the last day of the week as both Ryu and Kil were currently walking through the main school building's hallways, it was currently lunch as they were doing so. Since they didn't really want to eat at a restaurant, they just bought a quick snack from one of the stores and continued on their way.

"What club are we going to exactly?" Kil asked curiously as he was mainly asked by Ryu to come along with him to some kind of club. The buy didn't even inform Kil about what club it was they were going to even be checking out, so he was a bit hesitant.

"Well, the club apparently was only recently formed. From what I was told, there is only one member in it so far. That being its founder." Ryu began explaining as Kil took a bite out of the sandwich he had in his hand. "Since we both used to play instruments, why not check out the music club?"

"Music club, huh?" Kil rose an eyebrow as he heard this. He understood why there wasn't a music club to begin with. Music was one of the extra subjects, not a core one. So, if anyone wanted to do music, they could always just apply to join the classes. For someone to make a club for music was a bit strange for this school. "Why didn't we just sign up for the music classes then?"

"Don't really want to play music in a full class, I want to play more casually instead of being graded on it." Ryu shrugged his shoulders. Kil just nodded as he agreed with the reasoning, a club would be more private than a class, and much quieter probably. "Do you hear that?"

Kil gave a simple nod as they both stopped walking, they could hear the sound of someone singing from within the music club room, which was right in front of them. They looked at one another before slowly peeking in, which they definitely felt they were being rude by doing so, but they were curious.

Looking around for a second, they saw that another student was standing at the other end of the room and singing into a microphone. They could easily see that the person was a female, and the only thing they could really distinguish about her was that she had light pink neat long hair reaching down below her waist. Along with a small side ponytail on the right.

"Woah, she's pretty good..."

"Yeah..." Kil agreed with Ryu's statement as they listened. She had a soft voice, though there were a few parts that she surprisingly used a rather strong voice to sing. They continued to listen until the end as the girl stopped and took a large breath of air, and when she turned around...

"Eh...?" The girl blinked with dotted eyes as she saw both Ryu and Kil staring at her from the door. Both parties were silent for a second as none of them knew what to say, so silence ruled the entire area as they continued to staring. Until... "Kyaaa~!"

"Aaaah~!" Ryu was the one that shouted in surprise at the girl's shout as Kil just blinked his eyes after having flinched heavily. Ryu and the girl continued screaming for a few seconds before they soon stopped, the girl taking a few steps back as she stared at them with a red hue forming on her face out of embarrassment.

"D-Do you need something...?"

"Sorry if we scared you... we were just coming around to check out this club." Kil was the one that took the initiative to answer the question. He did so in the most calming tone he could, and it seemed to work as the girl seemed to calm down a bit as she gave a small sigh of relief.

"Yeah, sorry about that..."

"I-It's fine, I was just surprised. Please come in!" Ryu and Kil nodded with smiles on their faces, though it was hard to see Kil's too much as he had his hood up. They both walked in as the girl sat down at one of the chairs, with both Kil and Ryu grabbing their own and sitting down as well. "Are you both interested in joining?"

"Yeah, we found your club rather interesting. We just didn't expect to find you singing when we arrived." Ryu voiced as the girl rubbed the back of her head with a sheepish smile on her face. "Oh, my name is Nagano Ryuusuke, just call me Ryu. I'm from Class 1-A."

"Shinmara Kil, same class as him. Nice to meet you."

"Aren't you the new number one ranked of the school...?" The girl asked with widened eyes as Kil just sweatdropped. He shouldn't be surprised that she knew, the leaderboard for the thing is literally on everybody's SIMP device. Ryu chuckled in amusement. "It's amazing that you managed to do so well on your entrance tests to get such a ranking!"

"Thanks..." Kil chuckled as he saw the girl formed stars in her eyes as she stared at him with both awe as well as admiration. He then decided to take off his hood as it felt rude to keep it on if they were introducing themselves. When he did, the girl seemed to gain a deeper red hue on her face. Ryu noticed this and nudged Kil with a smirk, causing the boy to raise an eyebrow in confusion.

"M-My name is Kumegawa Aoko, Class 1-C. Nice to meet you both as well!" The girl now known as Aoko got her blush under control as she introduced herself. Now that they could get a good look at her, they could see she had pink-violet eyes and also fair skin. Kil wasn't entirely sure, but he was pretty certain she would be considered beautiful.

From what he had seen on how others have considered a girl beautiful, Aoko probably fit that category. He never really understood, but he was pretty sure Aoko would be placed in the beautiful category. She had the looks, along with the curves as she had a rather large bust for their age.

"Aoko, huh? Nice to be in the club with you." Both boys nodded as Kil said this. Kil then extended his hand for a shake, which Aoko soon took as they both shook hands. However, something happened as they all froze in place.

"Guh-!"

Both Kil and Ryu had completely shadowed expressions as their jaws hung slightly, and Aoko had frozen in place as her face showed an expression of pain. When Kil shook her hand, all they heard was a loud crack. Kil had even felt the crack happen when he shook her hand.

"A-Aoko...?" Ryu muttered as both of the boys stared at the girl with shocked looks on their faces.

"D-Don't worry! This happens all the time... I have the solution!" From God knows where, they saw her suddenly take out a large medical kit before taking out bandages before wrapping up her hand at superhuman speeds. The boys were honestly in disbelief. "See, just fine!"

"What exactly was that..."

"W-Well, I kind of get injured very easily, it's something that my older sister and I share..." Aoko explained as she gave a small depressed laugh. She then gave a long sigh before adding. "Even a simple hand-shake can cause something like this to happen... It's no big deal though."

"Sounds like a big deal!" Both Ryu and Kil shouted as they stared at her in disbelief. Just how weak does your body need to be for a simple handshake to break your hand, and it seemed as though it had happened to her so much that it's not even affecting her that much! Mentally at least...

"So, what kind of instruments do you guys play? Or do you sing?" Aoko asked curiously. Seeing that the topic was changing, both the males just went along with it as Ryu was the first one to respond as he then voiced. "Well, I used to play the drums. If I'm good or not will depend on you guys, I can't exactly depend on my word for it."

"We don't have the drums set up yet, so we can't really try just yet. They're still in the boxes over there." Aoko gave an apologetic smile as she pointed towards the boxes located against one of the walls of the room. Ryu just shrugged, he could always play another time. "What about you, Kil?"

"I used to play guitar, any kind really. Classic, Bass, Electric, I've used them before. I don't really mind which kind." Kil shrugged as he answered this. Ryu and Aoko gave him impressed looks, to which Aoko then stood up before walking to the side and taking hold of a classical guitar and handing it to Kil.

"Can you play us something? I'd like to hear." Aoko requested as Ryu also nodded with a curious look on his face. Kil just nodded and shrugged as he really didn't mind, he was joining the club anyway, so they would eventually see him playing. He strummed the notes a few times as he tuned the guitar to his liking.

When he got the strings to the right tuning, he nodded before getting himself comfortable. Both Ryu and Aoko watched him curiously as he began playing. After only a few seconds, they widened their eyes when they noticed something else... Kil was singing.

As Kil played, he couldn't help but start singing along as he played the song. This particular song was known by many, and it was hard for him not to sing along.

『Evangelion Opening - Fingerstyle Guitar Cover by Eddie Van Der Meer』

Despite Kil saying he hadn't played guitar for a good while, he was playing like a professional as he made absolutely no mistakes and his singing seemingly flawless. Never once did he hesitate it what he was doing, it seemed as if it was natural for him.

Both Ryu and Aoko could only listen in astonishment at the performance. Ryu had seen Aoko singing before, and it seemed as though Kil was just as good as she was. Both of them were taken back by Kil's skills as they couldn't help but just sit down in complete silence and listen.

After a few seconds, the song soon came to an end as Kil opened his eyes and placed the guitar down beside him. He looked up at both of his friends and blinked when he saw their flabbergasted expressions, it looked kind of comical, to say the least.

"What...?"

"Dude, you sure the last time you played was two years ago...?" Ryu just shook his head in disbelief as he said this. Kil just seemed confused as Aoko then held both her clenched fist up in front of her chest as she stared at him with star-filled eyes.

"That was amazing, Kil! You can even sing!"

"I guess, I never really considered myself a good singer though."

"Are you kidding? Bro, you were probably better than most professional singers out there." Ryu deadpanned as Aoko seemed to agree as she nodded her head a few times. Kil just rubbed the back of his head with a slightly embarrassed look on his face, he had never been praised for his musical talents since he only ever played before when he was alone. "Well, at least we have two singers now as well. We could even do a duet song at some point."

"Yeah! I'm totally up for it!" Aoko seemed to agree as she had an excited look on her face. While she didn't voice it, the whole reason she formed this club was to be able to play music with others for fun. Attending the music classes was more serious, though a club was freer.

"Sure, I guess I don't mind." Kil shrugged. He wasn't going to object, especially if these two were pretty excited about the whole idea. They chatted for a bit afterwards, and the end of lunch soon came as the bells began ringing. "We should get going."

"Agreed. Don't want to be late for class."

"O-Okay! I'll make sure to get the sign-up forms for you guys!" Aoko smiled as they all stood up. Ryu and Kil nodded their heads with smiles as they all began walking out of the private music room to go to class, though the boys stopped when they heard Aoko scream. They turned around to see that she hit her arm on the doorframe, causing her to go to the ground and curl up into a comical ball of pain

"Guh-! D-Don't worry!"

"Oh boy..."
