ANGEL'S BLUE EYES

"Can… I can… come to your apartment?" Anna asked carefully.

"What for?" replied Edgar curtly. Anna didn't know what to say. Edgar said again, "I have allowed you to stay in one of my apartments. Then why do you want to come to my apartment? Is that guy still bothering you?" Edgar asked. The amber-eyed man was actually still unsure about Anna's pregnancy. Edgar felt wrong from the start for thinking that the woman carrying his child was Anna. Turns out, Anna is not pregnant. Edgar already knew it from his mind's eye.

"No, he doesn't bother me anymore. I… have also changed my cell phone number. I just want to know better the father of my child. Don't you want our child to know that his parents always get along well?" Answered Anna.

"No need. By the way, how many months have you been pregnant? Shouldn't we go to the obstetrician to greet our future child?" Edgar said with a cornering grin.
