I am sorry to all my readers for not posting for the past two months. I was in school and could not cope with both school work and the book. But now I am on holiday, I will make sure to write as many chapters as possible and post regularly.

Thanks for reading. Be sure to comment your ideas about the book and on my errors.

The so-called invitation to breakfast was more or less an invitation to an interrogation, the woman who called herself the leader of the elders kept throwing questions to Si without regard to her feelings.

But I stayed quiet because Si has to prove herself to these people for her to be accepted and given the respect she deserves as the Alpha's daughter, she will one day take over the pack if her birthrights aren't snatched from her. And I will make sure it isn't.

The woman went too far when she told Si how her mother died.

I looked at the alpha to confirm how true it is and his face says it all. The woman went as far as to lie that her mother was still pregnant when she was executed, It couldn't be possible because Si is here alive, she voices out my thought.

The woman still insists she is right, I look at Si and see Li's hand on her arms giving her silent support because she understands it is something Si must face herself.

I had to chant it in my head, so I won't interfere, just when I was about to tell the woman it is enough.

A wave of strong emotions hit me, I knew they were not mine. Si, they are hers.

The ground begins to vibrate, like an earthquake, then thunder roars, I noticed the sky is pitch black and it is heavily pouring.

Goodness! It must be Silver's doing. It was then I notice her silver eyes were so bright you couldn't look into them

"Silver!" I call out as I stand to go near her, a strong wind throws me back. She started floating in the air.

"Linda, take cover."

I push Linda under the table to hold onto the legs, the weres also take cover under the table except for the park elder who was staring at Si and the alpha who was also calling out to Si.

"Si! You must stop it!"

I shout to her.

"Silver!" her father shouts also.

This is not working, she is displaying witches' power and I am her guardian witch and guardian witch balances the ancestral witch, she may not be displaying powers of one but by blood, she is an ancestoral witch, I should be able to snap her out this.

I move closer to and drab her feet, I felt like I was sucking energy from her into my body, it was painful but I drag her feet till she was on the floor, then I hugged her.

The energy that was passing through her to me increased, I started screaming.

Her eyes stopped shining, the ground stopped shaking, the thunder calmed, the rain stopped pouring and the wind stopped.

Li rushed to us and joined the hug.

"You are alright."

We broke the hug and I noticed Si looked lifeless, with blood pouring out of her nostrils.

My heart stopped. Silver, the baby. I thought.

Li puts her fingers under her nostrils.

"Thank goodness, she is still breathing."

I slum in relief. I hope the baby is also alright.

I look for signs of miscarriage, she wasn't bleeding.

The alpha comes close and takes Silver's lifeless body from me.

I let him even if I didn't want to, I trust him, he won't hurt her.

"Let me check on her." Lynn, the pack's doctor and healer said as she rushes towards Si.

They can't find out about the baby.

"Don't!" I screamed and stretched my hands to stop her but a strong wind came from it and threw her away.

What the hell?

I look around to see the weres move back and look at me strangely like they are scared of me. Jake, the second-in-command of Mason helps Lynn up.

"I am so sorry, I didn't mean to," I said not understanding what just happened.

Li looks at me then at Si, she takes the hand I had stretched, I didn't even notice I was looking at it shocked.

She squeezes my hands.

"You are her guardian witch." Someone stated, I looked up to see it was the leader of the Pack's elder.

I nod because it is fruitless denying it, but not everyone is aware there is a guardian witch.

"She is a hybrid!" the beta's mate Alesha exclaimed.

"There are no hybrid werewolves," Mason whispers.

"We all just saw her used powers that are extinct, the powers of an elemental and weather witch combine. She also has a guardian witch so it means she is also an ancestral witch like her mother." Alesha started in surprise.

"How could the moon goddesses allow a were possess so much power?" One of the elders asked a rhetorical question.

The alpha who was silent picks up Silver and head in the direction of the room we slept in, Li, Grace, the Pack's supervisor or whatever she is and I followed. After placing Si on the bed, the alpha quietly ushered us out of the room and shut the door. He indicated Li and I follow him to a room that looks like an office.

The leader of the elders was already there sitting on a couch, drinking what seems like tea.

The alpha closes the door and sits beside the woman, after ushering us to sit on the couch opposite theirs.

"I called you here to talk about my daughter Silver away from others." The alpha started.

"I think I can trust you because my daughter does. Her being a Silver wolf is a very rare and significant thing. Prophecy has foretold the reborn of the silver wolf for centuries. She is also the first hybrid werewolf with a lot of powers and those powers come with huge responsibilities and enemies. When people find out about her, they will come for her to either kill her or take her power for theirs. I have no doubt she is powerful but she will need people at her side willing and ready to fight with her and for her."

He pauses looking at us. Her father truly cares for her and is also right, people will come for her wanting her dead just for who she is and now she is pregnant with a vampire's child. She will never be safe. She is not only the most powerful creature but will be the most targeted person. One should expect betrayal from all sides because power drives people crazy.

But I still don't get why the leader of the park's elder is here. She is the one who would expose Si.

"You said you need people who you can trust but I don't trust her."

"Child, if there is anyone that should not be trusted is you both. Silver may be powerful but she is not a good judge of character, how could she just call you her best friends after knowing you for 3 months."

The woman spats.

"And she should trust you after knowing you for what barely an hour and during that hour you did your best to get her angry and exposed her to everyone present and the park at large because someone will talk about what happened to the rest of the park." I retorted.

"I had a suspicion she had witches ability and I wanted to see for myself and beside you should be thanking me, with my help we discovered things she has never done before, I also help you witch to discover how powerful you can be. With these powers, she will be able to fulfill the prophecy of bringing peace to the world by ridding it of the blood-sucking monsters."

The woman said heartlessly like Si is just a weapon to wield against her enemies.

"Mother! You are crossing the line!" The alpha growled, making his eyes glow.

What? Did he just call the crazy bitch mother? Meaning…

"Don't mother me, son! My granddaughter was born for greatness and can't end up a weakling disgracing our family."

You have got to be kidding me…. She is the alpha's mother meaning she is Si's grandmother.

"I don't care who you are to Si but let me give you a quick warning, you can't successfully turn Si against the vampires no matter what lies you spurn from your mouth." Li who had been quietly observing everything spoke dangerously calm while looking at Si's grandmother straight in the eye.
