Good food

To think that the letter house was that far away I shouldn't have just come outside. The letter house was at the very edge of the kingdom near the Gates that people need to pass through to get in.

I searched for it the entire time that the skies had even turned gray, not only that when I arrived at the letter house it was closed.

"Why would a place where letters all around the kingdom circulate be closed!"

It's supposed to be a place where important letters get delivered all around the kingdom, and not just that it's also a place where my father delivers his important documents, so why is it closed!!!

And now I am outside when it is already getting dark.

I still have to walk for an entire hour just to get back to the palace.

Sigh

"What a hassle."

As I walked back to the castle a voice suddenly appeared out of nowhere behind my back.

"Hey you!"

I turned around and saw a little girl with twin tails raising her hand as if she was calling for me.

"Me?" I pointed at myself to clarify.

"Yes, you."

"What do you want?" I asked.

"You seem like you're tired, do you wanna go to my place and rest." So she said.

Is this how people kidnap nowadays? do they really use little kids just to lure people.

"Hey! don't look at me as if I'm a little kid!!!"

ah. forgot about that.

"I'm sorry but I can't just take an obvious bait can't I?"

"No I am not here to kidnap you!!!"

"That's what all kidnappers say." I looked at her slyly.

"I really am not! My family just owns an inn and I'm just asking for you to come that's all!!!"

An inn huh? I heard from Lida that my doppelganger wreaks havoc at one of the inns she went to regularly, maybe I should investigate.

"Ok little girl I'll go."

"I'm not a little girl I'm already 16!!!"

"16! you're almost the same age as me how is that possible!"

Maybe her growth spout just stopped an early age.

I really did not expect this.

The inn that I went through wasn't just an empty inn, the place was full of people.

"Hey mama! can you order this man the usual!!!"

She screamed at the kitchen.

I thought that place has no customers because of how this girl was desperate for me to come but I guess not.

"You thought this place had no customers didn't you."

"Why did you even want me to come? from the looks of it your inn has a lot of people doesn't it?"

Not only are there a lot of people there are also different kinds of races, from dwarves, to elves and even beast men which are rarely seen because of the great forest that cut off the entirety of the south.

"You see... I have a good eye for people I always know whether they're interesting or not."

A good eye huh? could it be the will of vision?

"So you're saying I'm interesting?" I asked.

"Yes, why are you prying at me like that it's so weird."

"Really?"

"Yeah you're eyes were looking at me as if I'm a new species or something."

"No not that! Am I really that interesting?"

"Are you seriously asking about that?"

"Yes of course I need to know."

"First of all your aura is different from the rest of the people here."

"Huh?"

"Your aura has a more dignified kind of feeling as if your a prince or something." She stared at me with a curious look.

Does she know? I'm pretty sure my illusion glasses should be working right now.

"Don't get fidgety right now you'll never be a prince after all the first prince is a trouble maker, and the second prince is a noble supremacist, the third prince is a narcissist, this kingdoms princes are all abnormal."

I'm a little relieved that she doesn't know...

"Maybe you just doesn't know them well, especially the first prince."

After hearing what I said she turned her head towards me and looked at me with a confused look.

"There's absolutely no way I am going know the first prince well."

She said while swinging her hands up and down gesturing that it would be impossible.

I'm a little hurt.

"Oh! our little Yaila baught another person."

So her name is Yaila noted.

"What's your name kid." A muscular man asked, his body has a lot of scars meaning he went to a lot of battles, he has an undergrown beard and an eyepatch in his face.

Since I'm in disguise maybe I should choose a new name.

"Albert... My name is Albert."

"Oh, what a good name! My name is Rouge It's great to meet you Albert." He pointed at his face

Then out of nowhere a girl just grabbed Rouge's ear and dragged him away.

"Ouch ouch ouch stop it!"

"Come on Rouge stop bothering the newcomer, my name is Lilice by the way nice to meet you Albert."

"Here the food is ready."

A grown woman appeared on the table, she put down a white and creamy stew with mushrooms and meat mixed with it next to the stew is an entire loaf of bread sliced and toasted to such crispiness that when you take a hold of it you could hear it crunch, and lastly the drink, Inside a wooden cup is wine with an amazing consistency and strong smell.

Without holding myself in I went and took a spoonful of stew and ate it I then followed it up with a slice of toasted bread and a drink of wine.

Mmmmmmmm!!!!!

"It's so delicious!"

"Glad to hear it." The grown woman said

Next to her Yalia made a thumbs up gesture to the grown woman and said.

"Good Job Mama."

Apparently the woman was Yalia's mother.

The food is amazing and all but what sealed the coffin was wine.

"Where did you get such good wine...?" I asked

Yalia's mother then replied.

"My brother fermented them himself, he has a grape farm at Helia you should really go there."

Helia is the country in the northern west of Grissha, It's main trade is it's fruits and alcohol. Right below Helia is where you'll find Lazarouch where the pope just came from.

Maybe I should go there sometimes.
