Chapter 16
As Ivan once again sees Caroline he feels as if there's a magical connection, no one could explain pulling him to her. "Hey, Caroline. Look, I know it's late but I was wondering if you would let me stay here for a little while?"
As Ivan was talking all Caroline could think about was 'what do I ask him? What if he calls me a freak?'
Cough, "um Caroline did you hear me?"
Caroline hearing his cough came back to reality. "Sure you can stay. But I have some questions that you have to answer, and also why do you want to stay here?"
"Well, as I'm sure your friends Elena, and Bonnie have told you. My stupid brother is in town, so I've come back to punish him. TO MAKE HIM FEEL THE PAIN HE'S CAUSED!" Ivan explains while getting angry over his disobedient little brother's actions.
Caroline, hearing the pure fury in Ivan's voice, decides to shift the conversation. "Well, it's time for you to answer a few of my questions so come on in.
After around an hour later Caroline and Ivan are sitting around a pure oak dining table engraved with three words. love, forgiveness, and family.
Looking at the table Ivan couldn't help but let out a sigh. "So yes the reason you didn't die a horrible death is that I had a feeling something bad was going to happen so I compelled Damon. If anything happened to give you some of my blood."
After finally knowing what was happening to her Caroline looks at Ivan with a grin. "Do you care about me so much you can feel when I'm in danger?"
Ivan, hearing her, answered. "No, it's more along the lines of me having an impression you were in danger. It feels like magic but I can't be sure."
Hearing a response she didn't wanna hear Caroline got up and walked towards her room. "You know what, I'm a bit tired. I think I'm gonna go to sleep, you can stay on the couch my mom's out of town so don't worry.
Sorry for not posting as I said I've been going through somethings but after reading the support I got from you guys I wrote a little for you guys it's not much but I'm going to try to post more
