Du Tianxing's Condition

Min Yue opened her closet and picked a pair of silky pajamas. When he sat on the bed to help her change, Li Ruyan flung herself at him and hugged his arm like a koala.

He was very calm even though the action caught him off guard. He completely ignored the way she pressed her bare chests at him. He also ignored the heat pooling in his abdomen and his increased heart rate.

"Yue...Yue... You have a bad cousin... He said that I'm a slut.." Li Ruyan mumbled, complaining as her eyes drooped. She rubbed herself at him like a cat.

"Is that so..." Min Yue said as he pried her arms away and started dressing her up. While he was buttoning her blouse, she was looking at him with a coquettish expression.

"Yue, am I a slut...? Is that why you don't want me anymore?" Li Ruyan asked, tears began to form at the corner of her eyes. Min Yue reached out to wipe them away.

"Don't believe what he says. He is a liar." He told her as he pulled her pajamas upwards, sliding them across her legs then her butt.

"I don't believe you. You're the liar..." Li Ruyan mumbled, her chest rising up and down as drowsiness began to make her feel sleepy.

"I lied to you so I'm sorry." Min Yue responded.

She sobbed and leaned towards her side. "Dirty... I feel dirty... Yue, that bad cousin placed his hand on my thigh..."

Min Yue's fist clenched when he heard this but he hid away the angry expression on his face and stroked her hair.

"I've already taught him a lesson. He won't touch you again." He told her in a soft reassuring tone.

She blinked at him. "Yue..."

"Hm?"

"I'm dirty... You don't want me because I'm dirty now..." Tears flowed freely from the corner of her eyes and she hiccupped, hiding her face in the flush pillows.

Min Yue took off his top and shoes before climbing into the bed with her. He pulled her to his chest and patted her back as if he was cradling a child. He treated her like a precious baby and never stopped whispering to her ears until she calmed down.

When she stopped crying, he laid her properly on the bed and covered her with a thick blanket.

"Go to sleep." He got out of bed and dragged a chair to sit on.

Li Ruyan merely blinked at him before she yawned. In a matter of moments, the drunk Li Ruyan finally fell asleep.

At the hospital, Du Tianxing was cursing Min Yue infront of PA Ren. Because of the injuries he got from his little cousin, Du Tianxing landed himself in the hospital. His condition was so bad that he had to stay there for a week, maybe two.

Not only that, that little cousin of his did not even come to apologize to him. He had no one to vent and since PA Ren was here, Du Tianxing complained to him without holding back.

While his abdomen was wrapped in bandages and his face was blue and swollen, his mouth was uninjured so he could still spout some vulgarities and curses especially towards the person who was the cause of his hospitalization. This would have been worth it if he was able to taste that woman but he only teased her, nothing more.

"Damn that irresponsible bastard is really challenging me. Where is he right now? Where is he? Is he with that woman?" Du Tianxing shouted.

PA Ren nervously coughed as he inched towards the door.

"Mr. Du, the doctor said that it is best that you rest early so you can recover faster."

Du Tianxing threw him a nasty glare. "Who dares to order me around?"

Even while bedridden, Du Tianxing still managed to be arrogant and proud. It was certainly admirable of him to act like that, PA Ren thought.

"Where is your boss? I demand that he come to me and apologize. He is so full of himself now. He can even punch and stab this Laozi just for that woman! What is so good about her? That wildcat is too fierce. Even Min Yue, that bastard is not enough to handle her."

PA Ren was wholeheartedly in agreement. Indeed, Miss Li was a fierce woman but because of her love for the CEO, she was usually very kind and patient.

It was only when the CEO and Miss Li argued that Miss Li would turn into a wildcat with fierce claws that even the CEO who was a big hungry wolf would turn into a docile little puppy who was incapable of going against her.

Du Tianxing did not stop complaining while PA Ren was forced to wait a few more minutes before the big bad villain fell asleep. He sighed and exited the hospital.

He sent a message to the CEO and made a brief report of Du Tianxing's condition.

The CEO dumped the responsibility of sending Du Tianxing to the hospital on PA Ren and he, the loyal subordinate, even though he was flabbergasted at the CEO's violent actions still obediently did as told.

This was also not the first time that the CEO and Du Tianxing argued but at most, it was verbal fights. They were cousins and they never got physical with each other.

Mainly because they were two people with the same goals so they steered clear from injuring the other party.
