Red eyes shone in a dark corner of Harry's mind. After years of biding his time, Voldemort sensed an opportunity to strike. His lipless mouth curled into something like a smile.
Unknown to most, Voldemort was never truly defeated on that fateful Hallowe'en. Few suspected it, and even fewer acted on it. Voldemort was not just any other wizard. He was feared as the greatest dark sorcerer of all time for a reason, after all. Though most among wizarding world, were more than happy to believe he was defeated by a baby of all people, such was their desperation against the decade-long, unstoppable crusade of the Dark Lord.
The Dark Lord bid his time as his enemies celebrated and his followers disbanded into the shadows.
Voldemort knew he had pushed the boundaries of magic further, perhaps further than any have ever been pushed. He went further than anybody along the path that led to immortality. He conquered death. His many experiments bore fruit.
Yet he was a ruin now. Bodiless and bound to his prophesied enemy. He was powerless once again in his life. He sensed suffering countless indignities from muggles again. He was beyond livid as he felt the slights, though he was cunning enough not to give them their comeuppance…..yet.

Harry woke up suddenly and sat up, scratching his head. What happened?
'Last thing he remembered... wasn't he cooking? ... maybe?' Harry was quite lost.
Where was he? Harry wondered. It looked very foggy. As if he were on clouds? He could not make out where he was at all.
Though it kind of looked like the play park around Magnolia Crescent, Harry loved to play on the swings when Dudley was not around.
It looked very clean, though.
Maybe it's all a dream. He did have funny dreams like this. His favourite one was the one with the flying motorcycle.
He went to the swings and started swinging. It was actually quite fun, and he did it for some time before he felt like exploring further.
Harry went past the slides and reached the edge of the park quite quickly. He noticed some trees ahead. This is new. He had never seen this before.
Harry went in curiously. As he went deeper into the woods. The forest got thicker, and it started making him uneasy. He thought of going back. But he knew not the way back.
With a feeling of unease, he continued forward until he reached a clearing filled with darker clouds.
Harry did not like the feeling he was getting. His instincts told him not to be here anymore.
He was sure he'd walked into a nightmare when he saw a scary-looking red eyes staring at him menacingly ahead .

Voldemort knew his time to act has approached. Before him stood his prophesied enemy, right where he wanted. The child was small for his age. The very one who left him a ruin. Yet fate finally favoured Lord Voldemort. His time for revenge has finally arrived.
Voldemort knew he lost most of his powers after his downfall. He had miscalculated badly, indeed. It cost him much more than he was willing to admit. The child who left him a shadow of himself stood before him. But he would have his due.
Voldemort then descended on the child in the form of a black fog. With every intent to possess the child. He needed to crush the will of the child entirely and bind him to his will. He was doing the very same. The boy was resisting, though, not for long...
Lord Voldemort will rise again, greater and more terrible than ever before.

Some how Harry knew he was in big trouble. He tried to get away from the scary place. Yet before he could run away from the dangerous red eyes, The very dark clouds around him descended on him.
He felt a sudden, blinding pain in the middle of his forehead, above his eyes. Then, as pain lanced through him, Harry cried out.
It felt like the pain would never end.
Harry felt like he was not in the dark forest anymore; still he was locked in the coils of a snake-like creature with red eyes, so tightly bound that Harry did not know where his body ended or where the creatures began.
They were fused together, bound by pain, and there was no escape. Would the creature eat him?
This was the first time that Harry was truly frightened. Never had he feared for his life. He wished someone would help him.
Harry knew he was losing the fight with his nightmare. He closed his eyes in pain, his breath slowly became ragged, and he started giving up...
