I woke up in Liliath's bed. Yup. I repeat, Liliath and I slept on the SAME bed.
Fuck. We aren't married yet right? Crap.. I really wasn't myself yesterday-- fucked around with the Charlie Charlie challenge last night and nearly lost my head. Remind myself never to do these kinds of things ever again?
I was sleeping with my back against her so I shifted my body to face her-- she was wide awake and was looking straight at me.
A different morning alarm resounded in the room-- different from the blaring alarm on my phone, it was a wooden chime kind of ringtone. Gentle but annoying nevertheless.
"H-how are you f-feeling?" she asked.
"I'm good!"
Okay, shit. Dangerous. First thing she says when she wakes up is that-- uh.. fuck. Did she do something to me yesterday? Nothing right?
I quickly got up and rushed to the bathroom. Checking my body condition, I exhaled in relief.. well. The hickeys from the previous day are still faintly there and should disappear in another day or two.

"What club do you think I should join? You said you wanted to try the archery club right Liliath?"
It was still early, the sun had just risen from the horizon. Class was almost an hour away. From my observations, there wasn't anything off about Noel, no visible side effects or trauma.
Yesterday evening, playing an unusual game that summoned an unknown entity. It came crashing into Noel in its last moments.
It was similar to a wraith. A creature that had the capabilities of possessing a person. In this regard, Noel became its target. In normal cases, the victim would experience various negative alimet after possession-- fortunately that wasn't the case for Noel.
I can't be too sure if it was due to the short time period of encroachment or degree of my purification spell. The important things would remain that Noel is out of harm and safe from danger.
I'm glad there wasn't anything too serious. Though, I can't help but find sleeping together immoral.. I had no choice! I-it was for safe measure. W-what if there was another such entity that encroached on Noel under my awareness?
"Earth to Liliath.. your face is red. Are you still thinking about that?" Noel turned to me with a troubled look.
I shook my head left and right.
"I'm sorry.." Noel said.
"No, you shouldn't be.."

"Liliath, are you still thinking of joining the archery club?" Noel asked.
Archery club. It was the conclusion we came to after discussion though I am having second thoughts.
"Archery? Why not the art club? If I'm not wrong, nobody from this class is joining the archery club, you know? I've also heard from some of the seniors say that the archery club has been shrinking during the past few years. They also said that it's best not to join unless you're prepared to be serious when it comes to archery, " Prune said.
"Hm.. " Noel pondered.
"Noel, perhaps we should join a club that we have someone acquitted with."
I've come to realize that there are indeed a number of other factors in play when deciding on a club. One being the people partaking in it, another being the general impression of the club. My intention was still inclined towards clubs that would not burden our schedules.
"Well. If you put it that way, I guess it's better to choose other clubs," Noel tapped his mechanical pencil on the club selection form.
"How about the baking club? We're always welcoming more members," Prune showed a forced smile.
"Liliath?" Noel turned to me for my opinion.
Had I been given authority to make a choice? In the first place, the main priority was joining a club together with Noel. Moreover, in comparison to me, he's more experienced with these items to begin with.
"I'm fine with anything so long as it's together with you.."
At those words. Prune flinched while Noel stared at me, unblinking.
I felt my face heat up. I-I said something embarrassing didn't I?
I covered my face with both my hands. I could hear their sighs amidst my turmoil.
"How about we ask Nine and see what club she's joining-- Probably the gaming club."
"Gaming club?"
"I think Lillith is fine with either option but well, if you compare baking and gaming, the gaming club probably will probably involve less outside-club preparatory work-- but I'm not too sure. Better ask Nine."
I felt a sense of guilt. Much of this stemmed from the way Prune interacted with Noel and I, not acting jealous despite the feelings she harboured for him.
"Feeling better? Let's go talk to Nine."
To Noel's decision, I nodded. Surprising was how Noel wasn't all that sensitive towards my embarrassing reaction, he was nonchalant. It made me frustrated, but it was a feeling I would keep to myself.
We came in front of Class C. Most students were unfamiliar to me however there were a few from our class conversing with students here. Most notably was Kai. It was suspicious. The amiable and open manner he was treating one of the female students.
"Excuse me, can you help me call Nine over here?" Noel called out to one of the students close to the entrance.
"Nine! You have a visitor!" the student shouted, acquiring the attention of most people in class-- that included Kai, who flashed me a warm smile. I felt the world spin around him but shook my head to remove the thought.
His TALENT was still unknown. My instinct had been warning me about him the moment we met.
I noticed the girl KaI was conversing with looked at Noel with a reproached indifference. I wonder how it came to this? They don't know each other right?
"Oh heya, what are you coming here for-- Oh you brought Liliath! Hey everyone come here, this is the Liliath I talked about before!"
Nine called over her friends, who swarmed over like those nobles I've seen in ballrooms whenever royalty entered the scene. Though I've never partaken in banquets or balls, I've snuck into a few of them to observe how such events were conducted.
"Oh my god! Hello! Nice to meet you, my name is Helia! I can't believe you have purple hair."
"Nice to meet you Liliath!"
"Liliath, what do you like to do in your free time?"
"Nice to meet you Lilith, do you have a boyfriend already?"
The small group of people ran me over with questions. The last question made me shrink away. This action made them laugh. Nevertheless, I spent time entertaining them whilst paying attention to the content of which Noel and Nine spoke.
"The gaming club huh? Shouldn't you join clubs that relate to your hobby? I would definitely want Liliath to join but you two don't play games all that often right?"
"Yeah."
"Unless you're a pro LOL player or Iceborn player or something like that then--you're going to be left out. Plus, the club leader is kinda strict with the selection of new members because there's a lot of people wanting to join the gaming club."
"I see.."
"I honestly think you should join a club that suits you. Like the art club or light novel club-- or an occult club for example."
"Light novel club?" I noticed Noel gave Nine a glare before he spoke.
"Yeah, didn't you read the brochure properly?"
"No.. Liliath, what do you think about the light novel club?"
"Sorry, excuse me." I took the chance to remove myself from the group of girls to attend Noel, "Light novel club? It's related to reading, correct? I wouldn't have any qualms about that."
"Then it's settled then.. but I didn't see such a club when I explored the club block though. Nine, do you know which floor it is?"
"Helia, you're in the light novel club right? Do you know where it is?"
"Ah, that. It's actually in the library. In fact, the club isn't limited to light novels. You are allowed to read anything related to books, be it manga or web novels. Nobody really minds so long as you're reading."
