Daylight poured in from the veranda. And if you looked closely, there were small specks of white falling from above. Snow.
I walked over and slid the glass door open, a chilly wind blew. Placing my hands on the upper rail of the veranda, I gazed down at the black void below.
I wonder what would happen if something fell from here? Since Prune's domain-- this apartment is literally floating above nothing.
"Hey.. it's cold, fucking.. morning," Nine said groggily and came up beside me. Whoops, she woke up from the couch because of me, sorry. "It's snowing, wow? And there's nothing below us.. Noel, what do you think happens if we dropped something from here?"
"Morning Nine-- I think it disappears?"
I think?
"I still find it hard to believe this is all real," Nine leaned over and looked straight down.
"I know right.."
"Actually, I got to meet Bleu yesterday and tested out a bunch of different stuff about my unique skill, and I think you'll be surprised. Have you checked your status?"
"No, not yet."
"Check it."
"Okay wait…"I brought up my status. It was.. "And also, I've added new widgets to your system now, take a look."
"Thanks," Nine said, then brought up 5 panels in an instant.. what the fuck? Somehow it looks like a futuristic PC set-up.
"I've got a few suggestions about new widgets you can ask Unknown to add, I'm transferring the list to you," Nine operated her UI with the keyboard and cursor. Wow, that's cool. "Language translation is an issue, disguising ourselves is also another, faking our statuses, improving the messaging functions, a few things here and there."
"Nine, we don't need to worry about the language of the messaging system right?" I looked at the short checklist she prepared. I remember the guide mentioning something about autocorrect.
"Think about this for a moment, what kind of keyboard is Princess Siesta using? It's English right? Imagi uses the language: Phoenic, you can't type phoenic with an English keyboard."
"Hm.. I didn't think of that.." she's right, probably?
Then doesn't that also mean Siesta has no clue how to use the messaging system? So, I'll just have to submit Nine's list to Unknown right? But it's more like an update to improve on certain things... Actually, what if the system automatically tunes the keyboard to fit the language of this people's world, just that we never had the chance to notice yet?
Meh. If Nine had consulted Bleu about it then..
"Noel, your status," Nine told me.
"Okay," I swiped it over to Nine for easy viewing.
And if you're wondering where Liliath is, she's currently taking a bath. From the guidebook, electricity and water here isn't infinite, and will be charged based on the points if we exceed a set amount. Essential things like the water filter in the kitchen and light bulbs, if they break, Prune can repair them using her system.
Which also reminded me of the importance of water.. I'm so glad Prune chose this unique skill.
I got Liliath spare clothes in the shop that she recommended. She came from this world so her understanding of this world's commoner fashion sense should be better.

"It is different after all."
"The fuck is wrong with your stats?! Why is it higher than mine? What's up with auto kill.."
I don't get it. Nine is level 1 right? So why does she have all stats above 1k? And I'm pretty sure she wrote up a few of her own skills since [testing typing# NOTASKILL], [Infinite Mana] and [Auto Kill] are in a font with a darker shade..
"That's my Unique Skill, cool right? Ctrl C, then Ctrl V. I could've done it a million time but.. I have no idea what would happen if I did that. Cool right? COOL RIGHT?! It's too OP!! But why is your status missing stuff"
Okay. Just when I thought Unknown gave Liliath, Prune and I a ridiculous cheat, we now have Nine who's able to copy and paste stuff with her keyboard.. keyboard.
"Nine, you can type basically anything into your status right?"
"Yeah, I can. But.. I don't know what would happen so I try not to change things too much," Nine checked her mail, "Oh, there's a guide here."
Said the person that literally turned her skill board downside up.
"Yup. And explanations of our Unique Skills," I added.
"It's 8 a.m. now, we have to think about what to do from here on."
"Yeah, I guess we have to plan our next move."
Nine and I returned to the living room, leaving a small gap between the sliding door to allow some air flow.
Liliath got out from the bathroom, wearing very fantasy-commoner-like clothes. It's less of an adventurer kind of look than it is a simple merchant-bought sea coloured gown and pants underneath. Why pants when she's already wearing a one piece? I have no idea-- but it's cute, very cute, suits her well.
Nine complained about the lack of any toothbrush and toothpaste. Oral hygiene is probably an issue here in Imagi, just guessing. So I got them from the shop-- together with the clothing Nine would wear-- also told Nine she can use the shop on her own accord. I'm glad to have stored up this many points, we're burning through them pretty quickly.
"Morning.. Noel, Liliath, have you seen my phone?" Prune who just got out of her room and asked, scratching her tail.
"Morning," Liliath said.
"Morning-- no. I haven't seen your phone."
"Where is it.. huh? What's with those clothes?" Prune looked at Liliath confused. The sound of running water in the background because of Nine taking a shower.
"Normal clothes from my world as so we don't appear so conspicuous."
"Huh? Why.. yesterday wasn't a dream.. we we're supposed to be at U.G.H. but.." Prune stared at us dumbly.
"Did you forget that we're actually in another world now?"
"This.. and everything yesterday is not a dream right?"
"It's not a dream."
She pinched herself a couple times. Yup, not waking up. Uh.. you don't need to go and check whether or not the anti-Noel certificate is still up on the wall because I'm pretty sure it's not..
"Prune, what do you want for breakfast? Should we get something from the shop or do you prefer cooking the rest of the items laying in the fridge?" Liliath asked.
"I think I'll cook.. Nine is in the shower right?"
"Yup."
"I need to use the toilet.." Prune turned around, about to go to the second bathroom to realize-- there wasn't one.
