Chapter 2

Fliory

I woke up early and took a bath. I wore a knitted spaghetti strap clothe and a white cardigan partnered with a high waist jean and a flat shoes.

I’ll go job hunting, but I wonder what job will suit me since I didn’t finish college. I mean, there's a lot of job but with my records, I doubt fast food chain will accept me. I mean, I have a drug addiction past, and a record in a mental hospital, rehabilitation center, and all that.

I sighed. I can already feel that this will be a long day.

I took my pouch and put my phone and atm card there. I walk toward my door and smiled. I can do this.

When I got off the elevator, I ran out. It may be difficult for me to take a taxi later.

I immediately raised my hand to hail a taxi and gladly, a taxi pulled up in front of me despite all the people beside me who also hailed. They must be pissed but I need to move my ass now.

I immediately got into the passenger seat.

"At the Mall ----."

"Hi."

I stopped opening my pouch when I heard his voice. I immediately looked at her and I was right. Mr. Wealthy -handsome taxi driver.

"Hey," I said and awkwardly smile. "It was you, from last night." He nodded. If this guy is a creep, I'm going to throw hands. Not that I'm strong at it but I learned a lot from being in the streets while high.

"Where are you going?" I narrowed my eyes at him. I notice how good his English accent is. Well, it's not that it's weird. I mean, he's got a rolex that's worth million in peso.

“Mall, I need to buy some stuff,” I told him.

"After that?"

"I don't know. Job hunting, I guess or eat." I couldn't help but look at him from his hair to his body. You can never believe that someone like him work as a taxi driver. He looks fine. Maybe it's also a charmer for fun. His muscles are in the right place. He's very masculine in a very good way. His hair looks smooth, his shirts look expensive if you look at it long enough to notice that the fabric isn't just a fabric. It's a very good fabric.

"Done checking me out?" I blinked, I awkwardly grimace and look out from the window. Can't help it, he's not only good looking, he might be a total creep.

"Yeah," I honestly answer. Honestly is the best policy, and hey, there's nothing wrong in checking out a person. They might be someone more than what you see.

Learn that in the street of New York.

"So, what did you finish in college? I might help you look for a job." I sat up nicely because of his question. Now, this is helpful.

"Not illegal job, right?" I asked hesitantly.

He turned his head to his side and his eyes met mine as he frown.

"You don't think I'll kidnap you, do you?" he replied back.

I grinned and shook my head. "No?"

That's when he let out a chuckle and shook his head. "Not anything illegal, and no, I'm not a creep." He gave me a wink.

Well, that's a total creep move right there.

"I didn't really finish my college. I was taking psychology but didn't graduate," I blankly said. I could clearly remember why. It gave me a pain but not the kind of pain that still cages me in the past but just a disappointed kind of pain.

"Why?"

I closed my eyes and shook. "Long story." I lean my body to the seat and let out a sigh.

"I could give you a job," he blurted out making me look at him.

"Huh." I look at him confused. "Why would you give me a job?"

He shrugged. "I just feet like doing it."

"Yeah, right. Giving a job to a stranger--"

"What's your name?"

"Huh."

"I'm Magnus. I came from a rich family. I'm a Billionaire." I was stunned by what he said. "What's your name?"

"I- I'm — uhm — I''m Fliory. I came from New York. 100% human."

"I'm no stranger anymore. Can I give you a job now?"

I laughed. This guy is unbelievable.

"It's just funny how you ask me if you can give me a job when I'm the one who's supposed to be asking," I said shaking. "Anyway, you said you were a Billionaire. With that face you'll be popular. Why are you not in any magazine? Are you hiding or something?"

"Why ask? I thought you need a job." His face looks amuse as he drives even though he's not looking at me.

"Well, I do but ---"

"Is that the reason why you took psychology? You really are a person with many questions and curiosity," he said and chuckle, so I pouted.

"Sorry ... What job can you offer me?"

"well, you didn't finish college, so I can't put you in my brothers company. What can you do?"

"I can do house chores." Really, I'm good at it, and I don't mind being put in any job. I really don't expect to even do a company job anymore. I don't have education for that.

He nodded. "Good. You can be our maid," he stated. Not bad. Not bad. I'm up for it.

"Sure. How much salary?"

"How much do you want?"

"That's enough for me to live." All I want right now is a fresh start. I can make other plans when I have more money.

"Ok, ok. We'll talk about it with my butler. You'll start now. Is that ok with you?" he asked. I nodded. Right now, tomorrow, next week, no problem.

"You're my angel and savior Mr. Hot Billionaire," I said smiling.

Is this dangerous? Yes. Am I looking forward to a job offer from a supposed billionaire that drives a taxi and a what looks like a 50% creep? Yes. Do I recommend this to anyone? Definitely, no, but I got a job. We'll see now if what he's saying is true or just a trick to get me to his house, cage me somewhere and take my organs.

Magnus

I am currently opposite the Hotel Building. Waiting for Fliory. I didn't even know why I offered her a job when we don't really need a maid. Rein can do all the house chores himself, but I just fucking feel like knowing her more and more. I 'm just curious.

Rein is going to kill me for this.

Earlier, knowing she didn’t finish college made my curiosity towards her hungrier. Why wouldn't she finish her college? Looking at her, she looks rich and can afford college, but she kind of look sad or maybe something else when I mentioned college.

I know, I know. This will cost me trouble anytime soon. She'll discover something and leave me for it but maybe by that time, my curiosity is gone.

Later she arrived with her stuff. Shee opened the door to the passenger's seat and put in his suitcase and put it in the back.

"Let's go. I'm ready," she said smiling, and here I am staring at her while she smiles. Something inside felt the urge to touch her lips, so I mentally slap my head. Stop that, you creep!

"Fuck," I whispered. My curiosity will drive me insane.

"Huh?"

"No. Let's go." I drove the taxi to clear my mind of everything. It's making my head throb. It's giving me head ache already.

And oh, not to mention Rein will fry me for doing this.

"My lord, tell me you're kidding," Rein said blankly as he looked at Fliory who was inside the taxi. Yeah, he definitely want to kill me.

"Well, I'm not. She's going to our maid. She'll help you. Don't you like ---"

"Don't give me that shit, my lord." Rein looked at me sharply. I close my eyes and nod, like a good puppy that I should be cause right now, he's not having it.

"Fine. I don't know why I gave her a job and ---"

"You wanna fuck her," he deadpanned so I widened my eyes.

"Shut up." I looked to Fliory, she looking around the mansion from my taxi. "I'm just curious, she looks interesting."

"And if she knew our job?"

"I don't ---"

"I'll shoot her in the head." I just gasped at what he said. I can't blame him for thinking about killing her. Our job is a top secret and dangerous one, and we can't afford to be seen by a civilian. One reason why we don't have maids, too.

But at least he agreed now.

Fliory

I smiled at the room given to me by Rein, Magnus's Butler. I don't know if he's happy that he has someone to help him do house chores or he's angry. I can't tell.

I wasn't that surprise when his house turns out to be a mansion. He mentioned being a billionaire, so that's true, and he really gave me a job. Nice.

"You'll wake up six hundred in the morning. Go to the kitchen to assist me. Don't worry about cleaning the whole house--"

"Wait. Six hundred?"

"6 o'clock." My mouth formed an 'o' and nod. Is he an army or something?

He looked at me with his pair of cold eyes and started talking. He looks like a strict and rude butler.

"So, as I was saying, every month there's someone who comes to clean it. All you have to do is assist me every time I cook, I wash dishes, I take dirty clothes to the laundry--"

"Which means I can't do anything by myself?"

He smiled with only his lips. "Exactly, I don't want anything to be ruined." I pressed my lips together and nod.

"Copy that sir." I said and saluted again.

It's not like I can complain. This is his field and I'm a stranger entering it. It might take some time for him to trust me, not to mention I wasn't a planned visitor here, so I understand his strictness.
