There was less than a day left before Egeon's arrival in the Capital. The unrest within the great walls of the Capital had subsided somewhat with the arrival of the Masters, as the vast majority of civilians still trusted the Masters and were sure that they could be victorious, but there were a handful of civilians who they did not fully trust their protectors.
