Chapter 4

A week later.

-Ufa! ...What was I waiting for? This was obviously to be expected. But doing it that way, it's really time-consuming... And tedious too... - Hye muttered, putting one of her hands on her waist.

He grabbed the collar of his white shirt, and as he wiped the sweat off his chin, and looked at the system in front of her, he mumbled –7 points… I haven't gone up a single level in a week…–

-The money for closing the dungeon, probably has already fallen into my account... But it's not like it would make a big difference, anyway. At least I think... -

Hye took out his cell phone, and upon entering his bank's app he received the following notification [23301000 from Won were received two days ago!] But without showing any kind of change in his expression, Hye just dragged that notification to the side .

And after he had looked at the balance in his account, for a few moments [Total balance: 233,467,797,911,405.00 Won] Hye sighed, and put his cell phone back in his pocket.

-How proud... In the end, she didn't really wear anything... - Hye muttered, as he sighed and started walking, after putting the cell phone in his pocket.

Moments later.

Upon feeling the vibration in his pocket, Hye took out his cell phone, and after seeing the notification, he said -Huh? But already?” As he pushed the empty bowl of noodles forward.

[The dungeon will start in 30 minutes!]

Then, having already paid his bill, Hye quickly left the small shop where he was. A store that only had three tables. One was right in front of the counter, which was the table where he was, and the other two were on either side of the door. And on each of these tables there were three chairs, and only on the table to the right of the door, there were two people. Those people being the only customers after Hye left.

And even though he walked to the portal, it didn't take Hye 20 minutes to get there. Also because, knowing where the dungeon was, he chose a place close to it, so he could eat.

Then, when he arrived at the place where the portal was located, Hye began to hear altered voices saying –Let me go Dong Hae! I already said no!–

-What do you mean, no?! We were together for two years, but you traveled and had the courage to break up with me by text?!–

-You know very well why I have done that. So, stop playing the victim!–

-I know why? How would I know why that was?! I just woke up one day with a fucking message saying "That's enough for me, there's nothing between us." And you're telling me I know why that happened?!

-It was obvious that that was going to happen you idiot! Or did you expect me to forgive you after you slept with my best friend?!

While Dong Hae held the girl's wrist, tears started to flow down her face and she continued –... Why did you do that? ...You knew what had happened to my family... But still...–

Seeing her cry, Dong Hae recoiled. He released her arm, and took a small step back. And as he looked at her, and felt more and more guilty, he heard the other hunters who were around her saying -Poor thing, she was betrayed by her boyfriend and best friend.-

-So it is. And he still has the nerve to ask for explanations after it's over.

-What an idiot face. Who in their right mind would do that to such a pretty girl?

-Yes. If I had been in his shoes, I would have even gone traveling with her.

-Surely I agree with you. And I pity the next girl who gets involved with this guy.

After listening to what those people were saying, annoyed, Dong Hae looked at the girl, who had her head down, because he thought she was doing it on purpose, to ruin her image in front of other people. And he raised her hand.

However, the moment Dong Hae walked away from the girl, Hye looked at them for a moment, and even if it was only a glimpse, he sure as hell easily recognized that face. And seeing that girl, who was wearing a black jacket and gray pants, for some reason his heart suddenly started to race.

So when he saw that man, who was wearing a white shirt and dark pants, taking his hand to that girl. Even though Hye didn't even know that woman's name, for some reason, her body moved immediately. And in a matter of moments, he found himself holding Dong Hae's arm.

But the anger that Hye felt at seeing that girl crying, an anger that didn't even have a reason. It caused him not to control her strength, and ended up breaking Dong Hae's arm.

–Hey, why are you… AAAAHHHHH!!!–

Upon hearing that scream, the girl quickly raised her head. And even though her eyes were filled with tears, because of that man, she went to him, who was lying on the ground, complaining of pain, after Hye had released him. And after finding the cause of that scream, she immediately started treating it.

Hesitant to approach, the other hunters who were there, stayed there. Scared, and watching as they kept a good distance from those three.
