Isabel 11 Years old

The days turned into weeks, which then turned into months. The wait seemed eternal. Isabel's life was going on, however, her mind kept thinking about Sora, and how long it would be until she would be back.

Every night she leaned on her window frame and listened to his melody, the melody he had given her. It sounded in that little glass glass musical box.

On several occasions she tried to return to the forest. But no matter how hard she tried the result was the same, she ended up in a different section, it was as if the whole place she knew had disappeared. Even the secret entrance she used to take into the old abandoned church was no longer there.

It seemed as if everything I had experienced had been a dream.

A year had passed since Sora said goodbye to her the spring was at its peak, however, it still showed no signs of having returned. For several days she had been going to the old abandoned church, little by little her spirits were fading, she was beginning to believe that she might never come back, and that the promise he had made to return was only an excuse not to hurt her.

The week ended and the next week began, it was Monday. When classes ended, Isabel walked out of the school left the school and for a second she was tempted to try again, but the words that Sora said that day came back to her mind. "When my music reaches your window, you'll know I'm back," no matter how hard she tried the result would be the same, only thing he could do was wait for his music to let him know he was back.

The feeling of grief began to invade her. Thoughts were going around in her head, doubt mingled with fear, and the question that kept popping up in her head was: "¿What if... he didn't come back?" Isabel, trying to she was convinced that he would come back, but that hope was fading.

At night, instead of going to the window as usual to wait for the melody she had so longed for, Isabel went to bed, contemplating the gift that Sora had given him. "Liar" said Isabel between her teeth, making an effort to keep her tears an effort to keep the tears from coming out.

The wind came through the window, rocking the curtains, and with the came a accompanying by a melody. Isabel woke up still somewhat asleep, but as she heard the melody, her heart skipped a beat, it was a sign that he, had finally returned.

The next day, after finishing her classes, Isabel set out for the gear forest. The moment she arrived at the abandoned church there was Sora, standing next to the secret entrance. When she saw her, Sora gave her a smile. Isabel approached and stopped in front of him.

- I thought... you wouldn't keep your promise- said Isabel.

- I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you. Sometimes it takes a little longer than usual for convergence to happen, that's why it took me back arrived.

- If that's it, then I forgive you, but I hope you'll make it up to me.

As they walked towards the lake, Isabel told her about all the things she had done during her absence, Sora looked at her, and that made her nervous.

- Is something wrong," asked Isabel, noticing the gaze fixed on her.

A smile appeared on Sora's face.

- It's nothing, it's just that you grew up.

Isabel looked at Sora, she hadn't changed at all, her image was the same as when she met him. Sora appeared to be 18 years old, however, Isabel knew it was more, remembering the conversation she had once had with him, and recalled what her grandfather had said.

The day was nice, the sun was shining and the weather was cool, so they decided to sit in front of the lake. In the distance was Genova, sitting under the weeping willow tree. Sora waved from the lake shore, but she ignored him and disappeared in a flash of light. Immediately, Isabel knew that the reason she disappeared was because she was there next to Sora.

- I don't think she likes me- said Isabel.

- Ignore her. She's usually gentle and kind, I guess she's still having a hard time getting used to your presence, after all.

That comment for some strange reason made Isabel feel jealous. However, the question she wanted to ask about what relationship I had with her made feel insecure her, so she preferred to keep silent.

- When you finish high school, what plans do you have for the future?- asked

Sora.

That comment for some strange reason made Isabel feel jealous. However, the question she wanted to ask about what relationship I had with her made feel insecure her, so she preferred to keep silent.

- When you finish high school, what plans do you have for the future?- asked

Sora.

Isabel hesitated for a moment to answer that question, but in the end decided to do so it.

- I might study astronomy or astrophysics, but I haven't decided yet, I still have a couple of years to decide... Maybe when the time comes when the time comes I might end up choosing something totally opposite to what I wanted.

Sora's gaze, lost in the lake, his thoughts began to wander, suddenly he found himself suddenly found himself trapped in a memory.

- I remember when I entered college, my father wanted me to study medicine of course, it wasn't what I wanted, but at that time it was more important for me not to let him down, so I chose the career.

Isabel listened attentively to what he said. Perhaps hearing a part of his story might reveal something of his past and about him, and what he was doing in that place, even revealed what happened

- And... what did you want- Isabel asked, although that was not the real question she wanted to ask.

- Music... The truth is, that's why I fell in love with the violin, I remember when I bought it was like seeing a piece of my soul with a label and a price tag-

Sora paused, and again began to wander through her memories-. Unfortunately, I couldn't study medicine either.

- Why not?

- Let's just say that opportunity is long gone.

Isabel looked at him waiting to hear more, but Sora stopped talking, and silence was the only words she could speak.

Isabel pondered what little information Sora had given her. Knowing that she had been on the verge of entering college meant that at some point in time, Sora had led a normal life like any other person, however, Isabel didn't understand how things ended up like this for him, living in a mansion in the middle of a forest out of a fairy tale in the company of a spirit. Nothing seemed to make sense, and no matter how much she wanted to understand, everything ended up complicated even more. Isabel knew that the only way was for him to tell her what had happened to him.
