Chapter 6: "Postponing Luca's Murder"

"Rise and shine, my pretty little snowflake."

I moaned annoyed and pressed my face deeper into my pillow. Hoping I would suffocate myself so I wouldn't have to deal with another day being stuck here and the four pricks. Well, three pricks. Delano is okay.

"I said; rise and shine, bitch! Get your ass out of the fucking bed!" I rolled my eyes at the sudden change of Luca's emotions. After years of living with each other, I got used to it. That is also the reason I chose to ignore him and just closed my eyes once more.

Sometimes I ask myself if his mismatched eyes are the reason for his mood swings. It's like there are two completely different people in one body. The cheerful, goofy, and childish one for his yellow eye, and the moody, aggressive, and rude one for his black eye.

Luca is a weird creature. Weird, but truly interesting.

"Why won't you listen to me?" he whined. And jet again, I ignored the shit out of him. "Better idea!" he called out after a moment of beautiful silence. I moaned, annoyed, and started yelling multiple curses at this jackass when he decided that hitting me repeatedly with a pillow was a good idea.

News flash, it was not.

I jumped out of my comfy and warm bed and charged at this asshole. Luca got a look of pure horror on his face and tried to hide behind his pillow. "Regretting waking me up yet, Luukie Dear?" My voice was harsh and cold. I placed my hand on top of the pillow Luca used to protect his face and pressed it down. Exposing Luca. He screamed, and before I could react, Luca had hit me in my face hard with the damned pillow. He screamed again when he realized what he'd done and ran out of the room—still screaming like a scared little kid. As he fucking should.

"If I get my hands on you, Luca, you're going to wish you'd be dead!" I yelled and quickly chased after him. Something that my sore body didn't appreciate that much, but I couldn't care less.

"I got her out of bed! Now hide me!" Luca screamed while he ducked behind Denver, who stood in the Living room, sipping his coffee.

"Yeah, don't think so. You got her angry. You're on your own on this one," Denver said and walked out the way, so Luca was exposed once again.

"I'm going to fucking kill you, Luca!" I yelled again, something that caused him to scream once more, before running away. Again. He jumped over the couch and hit behind it.

"Delano! Mason! The demon girl is on the loose and trying to kill me!"

"You probably deserved it!" Mason called from the kitchen. The place where the three other boys were chilling or doing whatever. "The only thing you had to do was get her out of bed, not turn her into Satan!"

"I got you," I said calmly when I reached Luca, who didn't pay full attention to me because he was 'talking' with the other three morons. Once again, Luca screamed like living hell and tried to hit me, this time with his bare hands. Lucky for me, I caught his hand before it came in contact with my face. "Now you've done it," I said through gritted teeth.

"Okay, enough!" Delano yelled before yanking me away from Luca, just before I could strangle him with my bare hands. My whole body tensed up. I screamed and tried to get out of Delano's firm hold, but he didn't bug. His grip on me only tightened.

"Let me go, Delano! Let me go!"

"Only if you promise to postpone Luca's murder."

"I'll try," I murmured. But it was a good enough answer for Delano to let me go. I immediately took a few steps away from him and wrapped my arms around my slightly trembling body. "Don't touch me again. Please." Delano nodded before walking back into the kitchen. I took a few deep breaths and walked after him.

"Why did you guys send Luca to get me out of bed? I can't do anything. I'm grounded, remember? It's not like I can go anywhere. Well, I can, but then you snitches would report it back to mister Evil, and I'm in even more trouble."

"Yeah, about that. Your Dad's stopping by in a few." I frowned at Mason's explanation and planted my ass on one of the six chairs standing around the table.

"He's coming… here?" I asked, still confused. He never comes here. I'm always the one who has to get to him if he wants to talk to me. Him coming to me… Oh, boy.

"Someone is in trouble," Luca said in a singsong voice. I rolled my eyes and stretched out my leg, tripping him to the ground like I've done a thousand times before.

"Ouchy!" He yelled from the tiled floor. I rolled my eyes at him while the other three boys started laughing their asses off. "That's something I didn't miss."

"We did," Mason said, still laughing. He even had to wipe away a tear from his eye. I rolled my eyes again and sighed deeply. My wounds were hurting, but the stitches didn't break, so I should be fine.
