Chapter 12: "What Did My Door Ever Do To You?!"

"Here we are. Warwick Terrace hundred fourteen." I opened my eyes and saw we stopped in front of my house. I sighed deeply and got out of the car. Acyn was so polite to step out of the car, so I wouldn't have to climb over him to get out. Once out of the car, my eyes landed on Delano, who was leaning against the house and smoking his cigarette. I dismissed my new team by waving at them and stumbled towards Delano.

He looked at me in the way only he could look. Without me asking for it, he handed me the cigarette he was currently smoking. I gladly took a deep drag. I held my breath so I could feel the smoke circulate in my lungs. I give him his cig back, and he immediately took a drag. "I thought you needed it. You look like shit."

I rolled with my eyes and blew out the smoke through my nose. "Thanks, Dude. I love your compliments. It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside." I answered sarcastically.

Delano grinned. "Anytime, Sage."

"You know my brother would kill you if he knew you handed me your cig."

"What he doesn't know, doesn't kill him," he shrugged. "So, who are they?" Delano nodded in the direction behind me. I turned around to see who he was talking about. I rolled my eyes when I saw that my team hadn't left as I expected them to. I groaned, annoyed.

"That's my new team."

"You? You got put in a team?!" Delano asked, laughing.

"Don't laugh." My command seemed to make him lose it because he fell into a total laughing fit.

"Wow, The big, bad boss must really hate you for running away and fooling everyone," he chuckled before taking another drag from his cigarette.

"I hate him more! I fucking despise the man!" I yelled while walking into the house and making my way to my room. I locked the door behind me and walked into the bathroom that was attached to my room. I gasped at the reflection the mirror was showing.

I knew it was bad… I just didn't think it was that bad.

I groaned before splashing cold water in my face. I muttered some more creative curses under my breath while carefully taking off my clothes to examine the rest of the damage done to my body.

"Argh! I'm going to fucking kill him! I'll rip his disgusting throat out with my freaking nails!" I stormed back into my room but immediately had to lean with my hands on my knees to catch my breath. Al these injuries and blood loss made me tired and stuffy.

I carefully rose when I caught my breath again. My eyes wandered around my room and landed on the small picture frame on my nightstand. Tears I tried to suppress but failed to rolled silently down my cheeks. "I can't," I breathed. "I can't do it. I'm so sorry. I'm so fucking sorry, Lux. I'm not fucking strong enough. I can't do it."

I grabbed the ugly statue of a woman looking like she came out of an old era and threw it against the wall. The shards flew in every direction possible. But I didn't care.

"Sage?! What the fuck happened in there?!" Denver asked before pounding on my door.

"I fucking hate it here!" I screamed.

Denver stayed quiet from the other side of the door. "Leave her be, Den. She got a lot on her mind and being back here… I can't even imagine how hard it must be…." I blocked out Mason and Denver's conversation outside my door and took a deep, shaky breath.

I shook my head, walked towards my nightstand, and took the picture frame in my shaking hands. Teardrops fell on the glass frame while I silently cried. "I can't," I breathed again. "I'm not as strong as everyone thinks I am. I'm not strong at all." I pressed the picture frame tightly to my chest and cried 'till I had no more tears left to cry.

***

"Snowflake! Open the fucking door, Young lady!" I groaned, annoyed, and pressed my face deeper into my pillow. Fucking Luca. Why can't he just leave me the fuck alone?! Why can't they all just leave me the fuck alone?! "I'll get the heavy guns out if you don't open this fucking door soon, Snowflake! It's been three freaking weeks!"

"Go away, Luca!" I yelled towards my locked door before pressing my face back into my pillow.

"You asked for it, Bitch!" Luca screamed back at me before storming away from my door.

I sighed relieved. "Finally, alo-" a loud crash followed by a loud bang filled my ears. "Aaaand spoke too soon." I rolled my eyes and looked at the damage done to my poor door. They freaking broke it down!

"Damn. It smells like something fucking died in here," the platinum blond fucking turd said while pinching his nose. I growled at Luca, Joey, Delano, Blaise, and the Asshole with capitol A, before rolling myself out of my bed and locking myself in my bathroom.

"Oh, come on, Sage!" Luca whined. "Don't be childish!"

"You are childish!" I fired back childishly. "Also, what did my fucking door do to you, fribbles?!"

:)

"I really have no clue what the fuck a fribble is, but I just presume it's something offensive," Blaise said.

"It's Sage, so, yeah. It's almost certain that a fribble is something really offensive," Denver confirmed Blaise's suspicion.

"Yo, Boys! Is our little ray of sunshine out of her room, yet?! Sabrina is here to check on her!" Mason yelled from downstairs.

"Oh, fuck off!" I yelled angrily.

"Guys, I guess it's time for the big guns. Call him," Delano said before I heard someone walking away. I blocked out everything that was happening outside my bathroom by turning on the shower. I took a deep breath and stepped fully dressed under the cold streams of water.

A shiver ran down my spine from the cold, but the water started to warm up already. The water completely drained my clothes, which caused them to be heavy, but I couldn't care less.

I couldn't care less about anything.

I didn't care about anything.

I only cared about four people, but hey. They all got taken from me.

A lonely tear rolled down my cheek. I quickly wiped it away and closed my eyes, blocking out the cruel memories that were tormenting me for years.

"I'm not strong enough."
