Chapter 26: "We're The Same Fucking Person"

I shifted in my seat again when once again, my position started to get uncomfortable. I opened my eyes, groaning, and started gently massaging my aching, bloated tummy. I glanced at Raze for a brief moment before staring out of the window again. His attention was still on me. He was frowning what caused three lines to appear on his forehead. He opened his mouth to say something, but I cut him off before a single sound could leave his soft pinkish lips. "Don't say that everything would be okay. I've heard that phrase enough for the rest of my days." Raze closed his mouth again and nodded small. I turned the radio up, not caring if it would wake up the guys passed out in the backseat and wrapped my arms around the hot-water jug again.
