Her teary eyes stared back at nothingness as she continued. 


"That's not all," Her tone hardened yet I felt like she was forcing herself not to fall apart. "Your mother was drained, so they sedated her after the hardest delivery she had. She was too weak yet she managed to deliver you that day. The thing was, I only saw you because you were already there when I reached the hospital room. As I held you in my arms, one of the nurses came in holding yet another baby."
