Angelo

This Angelo person raised his hand to point out that he had a phone call to attend to. From where I was sitting, I couldn’t really see his face properly not that I was eager to. Enzo’s words confirmed that Angelo was in fact the owner of this fine Bistro and Bar. From his name I should have figured that out, but I guess I was a little slow today. Everyone at the table went back to eating and talking.

“How’s the food baby?” Carter leaned a little too close to my ear asking. His voice sent shivers down my spine. I turned my head to face him only to widen my eyes at how close he actually was.

“Good.” I whispered back. He raised his hands to my right cheek and softly caressed it. Almost instantaneously, I leaned in to his delicate touch. Reality hit me though, I felt my face heat up, considering the verifiable truth that we weren’t alone.
