After the headache subsided, I decided to fix the place, after all, that was going to be my new home. I have no idea what time it is since in this part of the forest there is hardly any light, thanks to the large trees I cannot distinguish day from night.
At the moment I am concentrating on cleaning everything as quickly as possible, here is a bed, a small table with 2 chairs, various tools, what is necessary to survive. There is also a small wardrobe worn by time and humidity but inside this, there are a few garments that consist of: worn shirts and pants that their original color had already left them. I could do something with that fabric -for when I have the time it will be- I keep walking around the house and I notice that there is a small kitchen and on it a small metal kettle, which makes me think again of water. I decide to go for some water but the fog is so thick that obviously I would get lost if I get away from the house -Let's see, there are tools and firewood here, I think if I stem it I can signal or something- I guess it will do for now. I made a few signs but I did not finish reaching the river - I can endure a few more hours - I say to cheer myself up, I continued the way back and when I got to the house I see that on the table is a small kettle full of water.
-It was you, right? -I said without waiting for his answer- thank you for the water and everything ...
With those last words I took off my boots and my shirt, already lying in bed I start to make a mental list of what I have to do tomorrow: I need more water, my backpack, and food. By the way, I left my backpack in a cave before entering the forest without knowing that all this would happen to me. Why didn't I bring everything with me? Well, if there was an aggressive beast, how would I be able to defend myself with a damn backpack? I left it for my own good, although I found the opposite of what I imagined. This "will be my new life" with that in mind at some point I fell asleep.

The next day, I woke up to hear the song of a bird - a beautiful way of sunrise - I think while I stretch a little, I stand up and go to the small window of the cabin, the song of the birds is very beautiful. I go into what is supposed to be the bathroom, I wash up as quickly as possible, today I plan to leave the forest to find my backpack and then to the river. I put on the belt with the dagger and my half-buttoned shirt, I take some signals, the boots and I'm ready.
When leaving the cabin, I take the path to the right and walk a few meters.
-Do you really think you can get out that easy? she says while she's sitting on a tree branch, "it won't be that easy."
-Don't tell me, now you have me imprisoned in this forest?
-Of course not, I will just say that you are not the first to try to leave after deciding to move here -now he walks from branch to branch- well you are not like the others, maybe the forest will forgive you this time.
- The forest? -I ask in a mocking tone- whatever you say, I'll be back in a day or two, don't miss me, magician.
-You think I'm a magician? -she says to me releasing a small laugh- could be something worse ...
-Magician, witch, ghost, demon, at this point I don't care who you are -I added seriously- as long as you don't try to kill me, we'll be at peace.
With those words, I continued my way towards the exit of the forest.

"I'll be back in a day or two" that's what I said but it took me 2 days to get out of this damn forest! I had to sleep on the floor, which is not uncomfortable for a soldier but sleeping with hundreds of tiny eyes looking at me is something very different, the owls not only looked at me but they did not stop hooting in a very scandalous and synchronized way as if they were singing a chant. They were the longest two days of my life, if it weren't for the berries that I found on the way I would have already starved to death and luckily the cold is not a problem, what is a problem -a big problem- is that I have no idea where I am, I know all the surroundings of the city but these were nothing like any place I have visited before.
There are two paths to follow but I do not see any reference to where to go, after a few minutes walking towards the roads I hear behind me the hooves of a horse, I quickly look for where they are heard and it turns out to be an elderly man who transports different boxes.
-Excuse me, excuse me, sir, could you tell me where we are?
But he didn't answer me
-Hey, I just want you to tell me what this route is called.
-Go away boy, I don't want problems with the kingdom - he tells me in a very irritated tone- I have enough with my work.
-Please just give me the name of the closest city, I have no idea where I am.
- .......
-If you want me to leave you alone, answer, I beg you.
-.....
-Well, I think I'll follow him the whole trip - I use a mocking tone- I'm full of energy to continue like this the rest of the day.
-This is the east exit of the city of Gridlar.
-Gridlar ?! But ... But how did I end up in Gridlar? I'm from Enzidax.
- I already told you what you wanted now, get lost.
- Okay, thanks for the information.
-How the hell did I end up here? -I wonder to myself- if I remember correctly the forest I enter is surrounded by mountains, to end this route I should have crossed the mountains not the forest, but what...
-Guy! Are you going back to Enzidax? -Apparently, she heard me murmur- The route is long, I'll do you a favor and save you a couple of hours of travel, come up.
-If they see you with me, I could end up in prison, better not.
-Here, put it on -the throws me a brown hooded cape- covers your emblem, and climb to the bottom of the carriage.
- Mmmm okay, thank you very much seriously.
I take the cape and climb on, so we start the journey. My mind is completely out of place, I still can't understand how it was that I got so far, maybe she is right, and "the forest" is playing with me.
