Laura Evans, the only daughter and heir of a late wealthy businessman, Mr Evans, had a perfect life. She inherited a multi-million dollar company from her late father, which is currently ran by her mother and owns her own interior decorating company she runs jointly with her fiancé, Scott Cameron's furnishing company he also inherited from his late father.
Together, their company has grown into one of the best furnishing and decorating company in the country and so has their love for each other or so they thought.

The Ex

 It was a Saturday afternoon, Laura was in the bathroom taking a shower while Scott was on the bed when Laura’s phone began ringing. Scott contemplated whether or not to pick the call or just ignore it. After several rings, he decided to pick the call. 


Then he heard an unfamiliar voice at the other end of the phone. 


“Hello, who is this?” Kevin asked when he heard a male voice instead of that of Laura. 


“I’m Scott, Laura’s fiancé. May I know who is calling?” Scott replied. 


Kevin got angry just hearing the name of the man who is presently with the woman he adored. He took a deep breath to control his anger then said, 


“I’m Kevin, may I speak to Laura?” 


That name rang a bell to Scott, he suddenly remembered that Kevin was the name of Laura’s ex boyfriend, she had mentioned that before. 


At that moment, Laura came out of the bathroom. Scott began looking at Laura suspiciously.
