"because I helped you. You know what, the moment people knew I was a werewolf, they will try to kill me especially when I gatecrash at a vampire's den?hahaha that's a very huge mistake"

"ahm okay so ahm I'm sorry?I don't know exactly what to say but I guess it's us against the world?hahaha not that us but you and me against everyone else ufh! I'm really bad at explaining" Via sighed

"hahaha its okay, I know exactly what you mean. You were new so people are into you since you don't know that they were vampires, you should be their dinner for tonight unfortunately a werewolf stole you out. You just have to learn how to choose the people you trust"

"I see hmm you're right!do you know Cazi?omg!I left her there, she could be attacked by those people"

"hahaha or not? maybe she's one of them? the bartender is her friend and she owns the place so that means she tolerates them."

"you think so?but she is nice" Via got sad at the thought of it after a deep sigh.

"well, not all nice are good for you. Cazi is nice but not good for you. I'm not nice cause I'm not your friend but I saved you and that's good for you." his eyes meet Via's. There was a silence in between when no one has the urge to speak up.

--go home now,it's not safe to be with a werewolf in the middle of the night and in the middle of a forest?--

"oh ahm how am I supposed to go home?I don't know really which way to go" Via said after hearing her dad's voice in the back of her head and after getting startled of it. Thank goodness she regained her brains back.

"I will walk you home"

"ah okay but you don't have to"

"I insist, I'm actually intrigued"

"hmm why?" Via's brows arched

"well, I can't read your mind"

"hahaha why are you trying to read my mind anyway?"

"oh ah that's one quality a werewolf is very much capable of" he started walking towards a way where there were small grasses into the woods.

"really? that's great"

"not so great for you since I can't read your mind"

"hahaha that's still great if you can read other's mind, you can identify who is real and not"

"yeah I guess but my powers are not really that great compared to other animoras"

"oh ahm what do you know about animoras"

"hahaha so my guess is right, you are one of us"

"I mean there is only one or two reasons why my powers can't be used against you, that is either you are an animora or you are my mate"

"hahaha I'm not an animora" Via laughed so loud not noticing Kaleb taking a step to get closer to her.

"so are you my mate?" He said with an enticing smile

"oh com'on!do I look like a werewolf to you?"

"no, besides if you were I would know"

"hahaha good"

"then what are you?"

"ah hmm a nobody?I'm just a stranger in this strange town and oh before I forget, why would a werewolf like you tries to live in a vampire's neighborhood?"

"well that's a long story"

"hahaha should we start now?so the long becomes shorter since my home is still a few more blocks away"

"oh hahaha okay, well I'm an alpha and my family wants me to marry my 3rd degree cousin just to keep the wealth within the family"

"what's an alpha?hmm and why don't you marry her?"

"well aside from the reason that she isn't my mate, I only love her like a sister. And in order to stop the wedding, I had to get away the night before just to show them my disapproval."

"so you mean you only wanna get married to your mate?what is a mate actually? you've been telling me about that since earlier"

"oh I thought you might know if you are a werewolf like me hahaha sorry! well, a mate in wolves world is someone we are fated to love, fated to be a partner, fated to marry and fated to spend the rest of our lives"

"because all werewolves are afraid of Hexa, Hexa is the great grand daughter of Van Helsing if you knew the history, you'd know all these things"

"why are they afraid? yes yes of course I watch movies so I know Van Helsing"

"Hexa is capable of turning all kinds of creature into a vampire...even a werewolf, a human, an animal or a combination of both"

--you're an exemption, Hexa can't make you a vampire because your blood can never be mixed with any creatures blood--

"omg!really?Hexa must be so powerful to have that kind of capability hmmm creepy though!"

"yeah! that's why I chose here so werewolves will have to face the Hexa before they get me or the other way around hahaha the Hexa will make me vamp and I become their enemy so its still a win-win situation, either way I still get what I want"

"freedom or I'm not really sure anymore" Kaleb looked at her as if he was trying to read her mind again.

"hahaha your powers are awesome but that isn't effective to me"

Via blushed at what her dad said of course because she is guiltily caught in the act.

"shshshshsh!" Kaleb grabbed her as fast he could and hide themselves in a thick bush, Via got startled but didn't react to what he did.

"why?" via whispered.

"someone's coming" kaleb whispered too while pointing his finger at the two people walking and going their way.

"who are they?" a man and a woman are walking towards Via's house.

"I don't know but they were talking about the Levi?hmmm I heard about this myths regarding this Last Levi alive but I thought those were just stories and legends you know"

"oh! I haven't heard anything like that, what is a Levi anyway?hahaha"

"an animora killer hmmm the Levi must have lived in that house where they were heading"

"really?"

"I guess so, that's what I heard from their talk"

"you can hear them even this far?"

"yes, loud and clear"

"anyway, where is your house?so at least I can have a coffee as payment for walking you home"
