chapter 2

As i approach the hall i could hear laughter one from my brother and from another voice which doesn't sound familiar that must be him lord sharks my soon to be husband, i paused in my tracks to gather all my courage, i can do this i know i can i took few more steps and the doors opened as my presence was announce.

"princess nellie arrives" the guard announces as i stood facing the high tables with my heads bowed down.

Lord sharks POV:

As soon as she stepped her feet into the hall the whole room was covered with the fragrance of rose petals that for a moment i could feel my wolf move.

"come sister, come and say hello to lord sharks" prince shawn said

There she stood my supposed wife, as she walked up to me to take her bow as every cultured lady would i got a better view of her features her deep dark hairs, lengthy eyelashes that dances perfectly, her heart shaped lips, her nose that fit perfectly on her face. she wore a pink gown that flows down covering every part of her body but one would not fail to see the shape she is trying to hide.

"kalosoriste ti chari sas"she said (welcome your grace)

" i see you know your Greek very well" i smiled satisfied.

" my mom was a fan of greek methodology she took her time to tutor us,too bad i wasn't much of a believer " prince Shawn said as he took a sip from his wine." sit sister at your rightful place beside your husband".

As she takes her seat beside me and then the same scent fills my nostrils but this time stronger.

i couldn't understand it the pack doctor said the explosion affected my wolf he said it will take years before i can connect with it again if not forever, how then am i feeling hot this instant,i kept the secret of my wolf saga hidden from other packs members just i , the pack doctor who tended to my wounds then and my beta Derek because i didn't want to raise doubt in the heart of my pack, i did well in running the affairs perfectly fine every full moon i will leave to the mountains to mourn the loss of my parent and my wolf away from my other pack members, why then is this happening now is this a sign or am i suddenly reconnecting with my wolf man

"let the dance begin" prince Shawn said signaling for the ladies to start dancing

"well prince i will love to sit and enjoy your hospitality probably even breaks some more bottle but i have other pressing issues to attend to" i said as stand to leave." derek , see that all the items are delivered and darain take the lady to the black SUV she rides with you" i finally said as i head out with prince to go and sign the peace treaty document.

Nellie POV

i couldn't bring myself to look at him , he had this dominating aura, or i am scared that if i look and see the monster i was made to marry i might run away and my brother would be forced to tire me up and sell to him as a slave he sure did make it clear either as a bride or a slave i bet the first it is,poor me

"my lady , if you will come with me , the car is ready and my lord will join us soon after he is done " the young man said to which i smiled and followed as we walked in utmost silence

"you can call me nellie"

"pardon me my lady i am in no position to call my lords wife by name , if the lord should hear , he could have my tongue cut off so i would never speak again"

"i bet he would , lady nell will be just fine then, plus you can call me that when no one is around i know i might be years younger than you are and it feels strange having my elders speak formal with me"i smiled reassuring him

" okay my lady ehm i mean lady nell"

"it fine you will get use to it soon ,what your name if i may ask ?"

"darain" he said

"you mean darain as in Darius in Latin meaning possess" i said showing off

"wow i must say am impressed not many can know this" he said to which i smiled proudly

i guess i am my way to making my first friend i guess marrying lord sharks would be all that bad. few hours later we started our journey i drove in the same car as darain , he sat in front with the driver while i sat alone , am sure lord shark wouldn't be far behind.

The ride went on for another two hours , occasionally darain will check on me through the viewer's mirrors and i will smile to assure him i am fine. After what seems like forever we arrived at the sharks home it was pretty dark the last time i went on such a journey was when i was thirteen, when madam grace and i went to the school of royalties. Right now all i want is a warm bathe and a foot massage cause i sore all over. Darain walked me through a long passage it was dark expect for the candles that lit it up, we took the first stairs up which lead to another hall with a door in the middle . He took me to a room by the left.

"This is your room, lady Nell" he said as he turned the door nob revealing the room although it was dark i haven't gotten the chance to examine it properly.

"if this is my room where would his grace stay"

"That is his grace's room at the far end" he said pointing to the door at the middle " there are just 3 rooms on this floor one for his grace , one his wife who is you and The last your kid, this floor is for royals alone" he said.

"okay one more question if you don't mind "

"yes"

"will his grace be coming tonight i mean to my room"

"i know what you mean , am not suppose to say this but my lady , his grace has left for a business trip , he wouldn't be back anytime soon" he answered which made the birds in my heart danced for joy.

" if that all my lady i will like to leave now i will send a maid to come and attend to you "

"no, no need i will fend for myself tonight you can send her in tomorrow" i said smiling.

"As it please my lady " he said a left quickly

after shutting the door i placed the key on the nightstand, i was able to find my way to the bathroom after opening all the doors in the room, the room was indeed big, i have to give it to the shark's their luxury comes in style , the room was almost as big as my court yard back at home, after having my warm bathe that i have craved for i got into my night dress and as soon as my head hit the pillow darkness consumed me into a deep sleep
