opening my eyes , i saw maya, derek and a man wearing white , derek was talking to the man as soon as maya alerted them that i had woken up , the man came to check my pulse when he saw everything was okay , he left
" you gave us a scare" maya said sitting by my side.
" i had a scary dream" i said looking at her," i saw derek turn into a dog" i said again wanting to make sure it was a dream but the look on their faces said other wise." it wasnt a dream was it"
" Am sorry nell" maya said looking down, the joke was on me " it okay , by chance does that tunnel lead to the shawn land" i asked to none of them in particular.
derek asked" why" , he gave me the dont tell me you want to run away look.
" The same day my parent died,i was playing in a tunnel and i saw the same fig figure, but it was small compared to yours" i explained to derek.
"what are you talking about" derek asked moving closer.
" ...." "am not sure either because i used to think it was a dream, since i cant remember much of my parent death."
" this dog , are you sure it was one of our kind" maya asked this time because werewolves dont transform till they are sixteen "
"am ..." derek spoke before i could finish my statement ," only one ever did" he finally said as he walked out

(Lord shark pov)
sitting down in my office revealing the pictures that our spy in the police department as sent to me , it was a photo of a man that was murdered by a wolf.
my wolf and i continued to plan about strategy , we could possibly take to keep the humans off our track.
it feels nice to be able to speak to him finally after many years, lately it has been really active .
"brother , i have found her" derek said entering the office. distracting me from the conversation i was having
frowning and looking at him" courtesy, beta or else i will have your head chop off"
" if you did that , you may never get to know what am about to tell you" he said with a smug .
seeing how pleased he was i knew the news was something that will cheer me up , if it was darain i would have killed him by now because i knew , he was known for joking around.
" okay... speak"
" the elders said they found you , within the shawn land premises didnt they"
wondering where this talk was heading to" yes , the explosion threw me out"
" and you said you met your mate in the tunnel" derek said emphasising the mate word.
"yes" getting irritated that he wasn't going straight to the point " whats all this about huh"
" you mate is or was princess nellie "
" no that not possible, princess nellie , is a shark man , the girl in that tunnel could understand me even in my wolf form"
derek moved closer " one of the benefit of the mate bond" he paused " didnt you say your wolf told you she was your mate"
" yes, my father, had two" i said giving him the you don't have a point look.
" okay fine , nellie woke up and gave the same account of that incident "
" what do you mean"
" nellie was in that tunnel same as you that night"
" are you sure about , this "
" yes my lord" and "if we are to check , we have search all records of all the ladies yet no sign it only mean she is not a shark man"
"hmmm" i signed "keep this away from every one including maya"

" we proceed with the ritual"

" good " i paused" thanks brother for looking after me " i said to him , he paused and looked at me with unsaid emotions . i knew he would stay by my side no matter what and i was grateful for that .
