Mystic dragons II

When I crossed the portal made by my daughter I could feel her energy and many memories came to me, as it was already night I passed by my old house while I was telling the fairies

Something made me stop in my tracks as the door was open and I made a gesture to Thunder to be silent and to Claws not to move and wait for me, I took out my daggers and approached slowly, it is true that I did not have much power but I knew something, if it was one of the bears the light would be on or I would not be alone, besides by the time they were more than asleep; I reached the door and bent down so the moonlight would not reflect my shadow, I walked slowly and something curious made me lower my daggers.

Cedric had gone to the house and looked at the pictures, the house that the bears made me in part was illuminated even without light from the fire, I wanted to speak to him in a soft way but remembering his letter and imagining his gesture made me angry and in a dry tone I say to him.

Me: it's strange to see you here, after your nice letter I imagined you far away.

I see her turn around slowly still holding the photo in her hand and as I turn on the light she tells me: I don't know how you want me to act.

I forget my anger because I knew he was right, in his place I wouldn't know how to act either, but I would listen to the explanation which he still doesn't let me do, I looked at him fixed and then I went to the kitchen to get some dinner, I noticed how he followed me and sat at the table while he just looked at me, I looked for the magic book and invoked from Paula's house some sausages, egg, milk, salt and bread.

After making dinner I served him first as I always did and then served me, I left the milk container on the table in case he wanted more, we didn't talk for a while he just decided to watch and I didn't even know what to tell him, after eating I picked up the dishes, washed them and put the rest away, I stayed at the door of the house playing for a while with Claws, when I saw the fairies coming back I talked to them and ignored Cedric who just kept looking at me.

After a while, I went up to the room and changed, I put on the suit that the fairies gave me together with the tiara and I left my hair loose, when he saw me he decided to ask but as it was something of a habit this curious routine I told him

Me: I'm going to the temple with the fairies, I don't think I'll be late, have breakfast without me.

But before leaving, Cedric stops me at the door and I look at him calm and curious about that gesture and he says: hey, sorry! my body reacted by itself, I wanted to tell you to be careful.

I don't know why I wanted to smile and I tell him: trust me.

He is only amazed and smiles, the fairies as something typical only circled and gave off pink aura as a symbol of love, I went to the part behind the temple where the mountain of mirrors, was a place where you could not see anything or there was no noise from outside, only voices and in the background reflections of ghosts of the past and in the center where the mirrors was another magic of mine retained.

I went out with the fairies near dawn already when some clouds were starting to turn yellow from the sun, as I left I stopped because the dress had changed, this time it did not reach my knees but a little higher with more layers, the final edge of the dress was gold with sky blue and lilac as I admired it ignore that Cedric was coming until I heard his voice and my astonishment was a blushing gesture with a 'But, what.... What are you doing here?'

I wasn't mad that he was there in fact I was glad but I just didn't expect it and that reminded me of Cedric from the past, I went to him and while smiling I said: good morning Cedric... I thought you would be at home already having breakfast.

He looked to the side and said: I wanted to wait for you.

I thanked him and while I was looking at him my smile vanished when I remembered the woman and I said: you told her you would be here, she might be worried about you.

Without looking at me he told me that he already told her and that he would keep her informed, then I asked him if Kath knew her and what he thought of her, he looked at me curious and explained that at first Kath only spoke to him a little because she was busy but then he got to know her well and liked her, when I wanted to ask how they met and how long they have been together a sound distracted us, I ran to the source of the noise and I know Cedric did too, I saw Isaac and ran to him, as if nothing scared him he hugged me and greeted me and then he told me

Isaac: I think they came looking for you.
