The Mysterious Guardians of the Sacred Cave I
After watching as her mother went up with the dragons and her father she is sniffing a little and looking at Lucy she asks her to guide her while asking her about her mother, Lucy who knew what happened smiled as she felt identified did the same as her father did with her once, she told her in details about her arrival and her power, she explained that for them Sapphire was a seer and Kath would be a priestess as such, Kath who was listening attentively to Lucy was just amazed and said to herself 'So much so is mom's power?' that just thinking about it made her blush.
Dante and the dragons said nothing, they just listened attentively to everything Lucy said, Dante who holds her hand firmly looks at Ra and then at Isthar and while looking at the girl who always amazes her the most says
Dante: you don't have to feel doubtful, your mother... I mean mother has her essence and you have yours; maybe I was wrong but I felt you were getting depressed. -he looks at her tenderly-.
Lucy: he is right, I didn't know my mom either and I always wanted to know about her since I didn't remember her, but knowing what she liked and seeing it for myself made me feel that she was never gone and I love that. If I'm honest Sapphire has things of my mother, her way of being and essence of helping no matter what or who. -she smiles blushing-.
Kath smiled and to Lucy's relief and with some joking aside thanked her for telling her about that young side of her mother, she didn't mind having other sisters or brothers and if they saw her mother as another mother that not only flattered her but made her feel proud; after saying that she understood more of her father's words and gestures when he told her.
After arriving at the cave of the crystals although they could all enter only 1 person had to do the test, Kath looked firmly at Dante and made him understand that dad was right in that he had the bow and arrow and while taking a breath she says
Kath: -firm look- I've made a big decision, I'm going to increase my magic and take care of mom; I won't let her leave our side again.
Lucy, Dante, Isthar and Ra look at her with pride and while they nod Lucy promised to help her with the magic until that great day and that she was going to do it too since she doesn't want to be weak. As they entered the back Lucy wanted to do a slight magic to levitate, but Isthar seeing the size of the cave returned to its actual size and Kath told her what Isthar was asking, Lucy just smiled and thanked him as she sat on Isthar, Ra stayed close to both of them to take care of them as they entered a soft voice echoed
Woman's voice: Who are you?
Lucy tries to look for the voice and while commenting that it is strange since this cave should be alone and while looking Ra confirms to Dante, Kath and Isthar that there is no one else in the cave. Kath frowns slightly surprised and making a gesture of silence another voice can be heard
Guadiana voice: Young travelers, tell us your names.
Kath: -she feels guilty for doubting a possible trap and says- my name is Kathleen, I am a priestess from another world.
Woman's voice: Kathleen, what are you, you have a curious essence.
Kath: -she smiles proudly- I am the daughter of a human and an elf, that is to say I am a half elf.
Voice of a female guardian: Young Kathleen, will you be the one to face the test?
Kath: no, I don't want the bow
Woman's voice: -she is taking shape in front of those present- Why don't you want the test, what's stopping you young Lady?
