Surgery

"Why?" Ivy inquired, sensing Lydia's gaze.

"Please accept my apologies, Madam! I cannot believe you are Mam Ivy. You look so different, despite your complexion is the same." Lydia stammered.

"That was done by the Doctor!" she answered as if she did not care.

"Does that imply you had surgery?" Lydia is taken aback.

"Yes!" She relied solely on satisfying the crazy imagination of a certain individual who is looking amazed about the information she gathered.

"How many bags of fat did they get, Mam?" She asked again with full of curiosity.

"I am not sure because I am sleeping!" She continued to answer as if she was not offended by Lydia's below the belt question.

"Eh, How about on your face Mam, how many operations did they perform?"

"A total of ten procedures!" Ivy's response is indeed straightforward, but this is not the case. It is all a matter of diet and exercise. She simply recognized the doctor for advising her to do so and her life would put at risk if she continued to gain weight.

"That is why you took so long to return!" Lydia nodded as if all her questions had been answered. Lydia's wild imagination caused Ivy just to shake her head because she believed in her.

"Eh, why are you changing rooms? Are you worried that Sir Edward might hit your nose? Or that Sir might squeeze your chest and suddenly shrink?"

"Huh? Ivy was so surprised by that statement that she covered her chest out of reflexes. "I wish I could do an operation to make it bigger than it is right now!" She thought to herself.

"It's gibberish you are saying Lydia because we just made love last night and nothing bad happened to her body although I used all of my energy from her. Even her breasts are not deformed because I used to massage them with both of my hands!" Edward responded proudly, boasting that we had just had intimate intercourse the night before.

As a result, Ivy was rendered speechless. She had no choice but to put some egg in Edward's mouth when she noticed he wanted to talk more about the particular topic.

"I just told Lydia that you did not have surgery!" Edward elaborated.

"Stop talking and eat!" Ivy told him and looked at Lydia.

"Do what I told you to do!" She instructed Lydia who remained standing.

"Wait, do not follow her! Just leave!" Edward said as he dismissed Lydia.

"I want to move a room and that is final!"

"Ivy, pay attention! Mommy is currently residing here. As a result, you are unable to move."

"Why is she staying here?" Ivy asked while frowning. As far as she remembers, Edward's Mother lives in their ancestral house with Grandpa.

"Grandpa is sick, and I don't want Mom to be alone in that house, so she will stay here for the time being. She is occupying the room you desired to relocate to. You can take a look to see if you do not believe me." She only looks at Edward and studies his expression to see if he is lying. She did not see any hesitation in his face, so she just let it go and finished the meal.

"Before going to the hospital, we'll get your belongings first."

"All right!" She answered in a submissive tone.

"Do you have any plans for today, or are you just stay in the hospital?"

"I'd like to visit my parents' grave; perhaps after lunch."

"Do you have any plans after that?" He inquired eagerly as if he had a secret agenda that Ivy was unaware of.

"There is nothing else!" Ivy stated because she has no plans on going anywhere. She has no other relatives or friends to visit. Peter is her only friend who is in Country A.

"Perhaps we should go out to dinner!" Edward said he's purpose in asking about her schedule. It was written in his eyes that he was hoping that Ivy would agree to his invitation.

"Sure!" She agreed but before Edward could rejoice. She says again, "In one condition!"

"Sure, as long as it is not about getting divorced and moving out! Not a problem!" Edward responded enthusiastically.

"Give me back my phone!"

"I'll give it to you later." He responded cheerfully. He did not intend to keep Ivy's phone hidden for long because he knew how important it was to her. He was simply carried away by jealousy. He does not like the way Peter expresses his concern for her.

Ivy simply nodded in agreement with Edward's statement. After their meal, they return to their room and begin to bathe and dress in preparation for their departure.

"At which hotel did you check-in?" While driving his Aston Martin One, Edward inquired. Which he acquired after their marriage.

"At the City Star Hotel!" She responded as she continued to peer out the car window.

They did not say anything until they arrived at the hotel. Ivy went down first and left Edward, but he soon followed her and grabbed her hand, making it impossible for her to get away from him. They take the elevator up to the top floor, where the room is.

"The room you reserved is awesome; it is a shame you did not sleep here!" He stated that as he lay in the huge bed, Ivy simply ignored him and continued to pack her belongings in her suitcase.

"If you did not force me to take you to your house, I probably slept here last night," she reckons.

"Baby!" He called out while holding Ivy's hand, hoping to catch her attention because she was not paying attention to him.

"What?" at the same time she waved his hand to get out of his grip.

"Let's sleep here!" Simultaneously, Ivy has dragged away, forcing her to lie down on the bed. Then Edward leaned over and kissed her.

"What do you want this time? Let me go!" Ivy complained as she stared at Edward as if no one had heard and continued kissing her. She tried to struggle but nothing happened. What is the use in fighting against a man full of strength and energy?
