Me and you

##Joana##

Where did this boy go? Got me looking through mosquitoes for him. Ugh, boy loves going stray. I found him and Andy under banana trees sitting by the pool.

Joana: Hey

Derin: Hey Babe

Andy: Bonsoir (Evening)

He and his Cousin talk for a while about things they used to do when he was much smaller. When Derin asks about his mom, Andy hesitates but answers, "She's grown bitter since her relationship with Derin's father" Derin's toughness was an act. He's nervous, I could tell.

Derin: Babe, the food should have been done hours ago

Joana: I'll go get it

Derin: Andy, Do you want anything?

Andy: Oh kouz, sa'w ban mwen map pran (Cousin, anything you give me I'll take)

Joana: I'll be back.

I got up, letting them reminisce on their childhood. Passing grass, Trees, Stumbled to the bar. How the heck? I walked up, hoping to get directions. The lady at the bar said, "yes, Derin ordered but never picked up the food." She charges in Coins; I had to have her explain it in dollars. I had 10 dollars, and one dollar equals 15 dollars right now. That should be more than enough. I got us ice-cold beverages to eat with our food. I asked her to make an additional plate, and she told me it be 15 more minutes. I agree to wait while watching the other tourists dance. There was this one guy, haha. He wore a black and white floral shirt unbuttoned. He wasn't muscular, Going half bald, asking me to dance.

Joana: Yeah, no speak creole

Guy: Oh, no problem. I'm from New Jersey

Joana: Oh great, You speak English

I said sarcastically, haha he didn't even notice.

Guy: My name is Jerome

Joana: Joana

Jerome: Can I buy you a beer, Joana?

Joana: No, thanks. I got drinks

Jerome: Anyone ever told you how pretty you are? Nice smile, Pretty face, Your shape isn't bad either.

Oh lord.

Joana: Thanks. I think

Jerome: I'm in real estate. If you ever want to get a house?

Joana: I, um, have a house. Thank you

Jerome: An woman who is financially established, I like that. Listened. How about we get out of here? It's a little crowded. Who knows, I might let you get me pregnant for that child support check...

He busts out laughing like what he said was funny?

Joana: Right

When the lady said my order was ready, happiness and relief rushed over me. As I got up, the guy said, "my ass could give him several bills he would gladly pay for." This guy is disrespectful. I grab the food to walk back to Derin. Hand everyone their food. Andy seems the happiest. We ate as Derin and Andy talked the night away. They agreed to meet here bright and early to meet with his mom; Derin didn't want his mom to know about him coming. That's weird. Mosquitos biting the shit out of me wasn't the highlight of my evening.

Joana: I'm going inside

Derin: Oh wait up I'll come, Andy Demain si dieux veux? (Tomorrow, if God's willing?)

Andy: Okay

He left, Me and Derin made our way to our bedroom. Jerome, the guy from earlier, was standing in front of my door.

Jerome: Wow, this guy? Baby, come on, you can do so much better.

Derin: Um, Who is this guy?

Joana: I met him at the bar a few minutes ago, haha

Jerome: I think you should back up, pal

He said, walking up to Derin and pointing at his chest.

Derin: Are you serious right now?

Joana: This is my husband

Jerome: Oh

Derin: Yeah, And a word of advice, Shave it off; everyone sees your going bald. Black ink isn't helping.

Jerome: Frekan (Rude)

Derin: I'm rude? Do you hear yourself? You hit on my wife, and am the rude one?

Jerome: She didn't state that

Joana: Alright, come on, babe, let's go.

I grab hold of my husband as he twists open the door. Jerome looked so stupid; why would he think people come to vacation to find romance? Haha.

As he got inside, Derin didn't give it much thought, but I could tell he was thinking about meeting his mom tomorrow.

Joana: Baby?

I said, rubbing his shoulders as he sat on the bed, deep in thought.

Joana: Why don't you want your mom to know you're coming?

Derin: I don't want her to think of an excuse as to why she left me

Joana: Sigh, I see.

Derin: I only came for the therapy, which I quit, by the way.

Joana: Haha, okay

I said, sitting on him, face to face.

Joana: If you don't hear what you want to hear, are you going to be okay

Derin: At least I'll know Nana

He said, gripping my waist and holding hands full of ass cheeks.

Derin: You coming with me tomorrow?

Joana: Am I invited, my love.

Derin: Haha, what?

He flipped me over, putting me on the side of him. Gently pecking my nose.

Derin: It would mean a lot if you came

Joana: Of course.

He smiled as he got up from the bed to bathe. My body was still in shock from what we did earlier. Sleep came as fast as I let my head settle on the pillow. The next day I woke up to him with a tank top and sweats. Wasn't he going anymore?

Joana: Babe?

Derin: This is a bad idea. We should go home

Joana: Nuh uh, Were going. Your cousin is coming.

Derin: Sigh, but I don't..

Joana: Come on, I'll be right next to you.

He nodded at that comment, Threw a shirt on with dress-like pants for us to go. We saw Andy getting out of his blue pickup truck as we walked outside.

Andy: Annale! (Let's go)

I held Derin's hand; I knew he was nervous. With gritted teeth and clenched fist, he got in the vehicle. Leaving dust behind us. We were driving on Rocks now. This is so uncomfortable my baby wave started to sweat. Andy stopped at this red Farmhouse. To the left, she had 6 goats and 5 cows. On the right, Behind the house, we can see chicken coups. Horses eating grass freely. This woman was doing good for herself.

Andy: You ready?

Joana: You got this, baby.

Derin didn't say anything. He got out of the car heading to the house. Andy followed, opening the door wide open. Sigh, they just leave their door wide open? Upon entry into the all-red house, I could hear women chatting in the far back.

Andy: Kote moun yo (where is everybody)

With that announcement, some ladies told us they were in the back cooking. We followed Andy to a red hallway, Dried blocks wall she still needed to paint. The kitchen didn't have any doors. There was an older adult and three ladies that looked to be in their 50s. Derin stared at one particular woman. He couldn't blink. I wondered, was that her? She had long black hair to her mid back, Nice smile, come to think of it. She has Derin's oval facial features and Derin's beautiful light brown eyes. She was pretty small, Slim.

Derin: Can we talk?

He said to the woman, who stopped eating out of shock. She nodded as she led the way. Andy talked to the women in the kitchen. I kept quiet, waiting on babe. I hoped his okay talking to his mom by himself.

##Derin##

Derin: We're far enough. I won't be here long

Mom: My sweet boy

Tears flowed down like streams. She left. Why was she crying?

Derin: I came to know why you... left?

Mom: I didn't abandon you

Derin: I'd say leaving and never returning is abandonment.

Mom: No, my mom was sick. I was mad at your dad. I bought a one-way ticket, Then I lost my documents, and I couldn't Come back to the united state. I had no money. I've put a request in immigration here, but they're a joke. Oh, my handsome boy.

Derin: Alright then, Have a good day

That's all I came for. I wonder how soon I could fly out of here?

Mom: Please, I would like to know who you've become Dèdè

Derin: No offense, but I don't think it's necessary

Mom: (Crying) I know your mad. Two questions aren't enough, please. I've missed you so much. I've always told Joseph I'll be back for my child, I had no intentions of leaving you behind.

Derin: Why Didn't you reach out to Dad to get things situated?

Mom: Pride, the last thing I told him was if I leave here am not coming back.

Derin: Your pride kept you away all these years.

Mom: Oh, honey

Derin: Have a good day.

I returned to the kitchen, passing by so much vegetation. It was a small trail from the Chicken to the kitchen. Joana sat on an orange bucket waiting for me to return.

Derin: Annale (Let's go)

Andy, who had a mouth full of meat, nodded. I didn't have much to say. Deep down, she wanted to leave my dad and everything that reminded her of him. I shouldn't have come. It was nice seeing her pretty smile and dark skin again, but she only confirmed what I already knew. Saying goodbye to Andy at the hotel, I wanted to purchase a ticket immediately.

Joana: Hey

Derin: Hey

I said, laying back down on the bed, arms covering my face. Joana wanted to know, but she kept silent until I was ready.

Joana: So...

She said, climbing into bed with me.

Derin: You don't know how much I prayed for you,..

I said, passing my fingers by her face.

Joana: Don't do that

She said, sitting up on the bed.

Derin: What am I doing?

Joana: Don't act like a perfect angel. Angels don't break people's hearts

Derin: You're the only common denominator for me. My equal.

She turns to look at me with tears filling the rims of her eyes.

Joana: How can you wish me heartbreak, Derin?

Derin: I've recited every prayer I know to get you back, To make you want me back. God may be mad at this, but I believe in us so much.

Joana: YOU SHOULD have BEEN THERE, Derin!

Such a beautiful flower, Unraveling in front of me. As a lawyer, I know she's masking her emotion. Seeing her screaming at me, Getting out of character... I had several reasons I could give her, but my body reacted before I could. Both our tears become one as our mouths cut off access to oxygen, Refusing to let one another go. I took my shirt off first, Still looking at her sorrows. Seeing her flaws always lit up a fire to protect her. Her defiant clothes were keeping me from my goals.

Derin: Trust me with your heart again, Joana?

Joana: Derin...

Her clothes were fully off now. I wanted to be on top to show her I could take care of her if she let me. Spreading her legs open, She leaned in and kissed me some more. It didn't bother me that she bite me. She licked my top lips. I haven't felt free without her.

Derin: You're the only...

Joana: Don't lie to me; there is going to be someone who looks better than me, Who can take care of your heart better than I can.

Derin: How can you think like that, Nana

Joana: Because I know...

I didn't want her to finish that sentence. I finished spreading her legs, shoving my engorged manhood inside her. The way her body gripped onto me, Her back arch when I put all my inches inside.

Joana: Ah

Derin: There can't be someone better than you In my eyes.

"Slap, slap" Did she slap me?

Joana: Please... Don't lie to me... Sometimes I wish I had never met you

Hearing her truth made me pull her hair, disclosing her neck. I roughly bite her neck.

Joana: You keep imprisoning my heart, Derin

Derin: Yet you are the only one who has mine.

I find myself going deeper inside her. More importantly, I knew I was talking about her frustrations.

Derin: Meeting you is the best thing that ever happened to me. I wouldn't hurt you.

Joana: Derin, you did hurt me over and over again. Why are we doing this when I am the only one who gets the broken pieces?

I gently lift her waist for me to get to all her spots.

Joana: Ah, you're so deep

Derin: I won't ever let you go again. Am sorry for the heartache. Joana, please try again with me, Please?

##Joana##

Meeting his mom must have made him emotional. I've never seen him fully cry when asking me to love him again. I never stop loving him. Even when I tried. Now his burying his soul within me. Is it wrong to want everything he brings? Guess Cecilia wasn't the only one who wanted to see him at his best or his worst.

Derin: Joana?

Joana: Yeah, I want a baby

Guess that caught him by surprise. His juice went everywhere, like a fireman trying to control his hose.
